I really like the staging of the circular bathtub, the drama, and surprise of it, but walking on steps to enter and leaving the tub, with wet feet no less, is a no go. I would value a huge overhead shower but natural rain for showering though a beautiful concept, due to pollutants, is filthy.

I strongly dislike Lula’s design. Putting steps right outside of a tub? how does that make any sense for slippery feet? And what happened to the shower? Don’t most people take showers? The thought of collecting water and condensation and having it come down the walls is gross. Mildew anyone? I honestly don’t like anything about her design but I do appreciate that she is trying to be creative. Total fail in this particular case.
I think Laura did the best job of making this huge, lifeless, room into an inviting one. I find that with a room that large, marble just reinforces the dullness of the space. Maybe for a hotel, but for a home, Laura takes the cake IMHO.

Lula’s designs are so dreamy and otherworldly and my personality is totally inclined to that. These kinds of luxury mansions are the litteral opposite of sustainable. I love Lula's idea of a hole in the ceiling, but unless this house is located in a tropical climate, that is gonna lose SO MUCH heat.
I would say Laura's design is something I would have in my home, Lula's would be great for a spa experience (too extravagant for my everyday life) and Alvin's I would have liked a lighter warm beige for the ceiling but it is my bottom pick because I don't love marble that much (Lula's was a lighter marble and her design had furniture that complemented the space better)

Lula’s made no sense. She didn’t put any kind of faucet near the tub, so you can’t take a bath unless it’s raining outside. She removed the windows which is unrealistic, she didn’t even add a Shower, there’s a huge hole in the ceiling, so this bathroom can’t be downstairs or in any kind of apartment, and if it’s in a one story house, if it starts snowing then good luck. You hear everything from outside, no temperature control, literally anyone could climb your roof and be inside your house, you have to get the window into door transformation approved by the city, etc. Her design was very unrealistic, but at least she may have had fun.

I absolutely love all of Laura’s designs for how realistic and achievable they are
*Laura* : This is what I would want in my dream house… Cozy, sustainable and practical. *Lula* : When you look at Lula's design, it just exhibits luxury and uniqueness - All that I would want in let’s say a private resort or a 5 star hotel. *Alvin* : Sadly my least favorite out of the trio for a few reasons, the color choices combined with the emptiness in the middle makes it feel uncomfortable for me personally. It was still a great design but compared to the other two it stands no chance. Great vision, not so great execution.

Is she? It's a cool concept but how the hell would a bathroom like that work in real life? No cabinets, no curtains or blinds to cover the giant glass door, no plumbing attached to the tub. Like, the only option I have is to bathe in cold rain water? And if it doesn't rain I guess I'll have to wash myself off in the sink like a homeless person.
All the bathrooms were beautiful, but I think there should be some common sense limitations to this execercise, like keeping the space within the same context. Moving the environment felt like a cheat code.
@codicarves8495

I totally agree, its too easy for them. Not at all realistic. Alvin is the only designer that left the water closet, the other 2 have no toilet.
All three designs were gorgeous. Lula's is the ultra mega baller one though, not sure I would want that for an everyday bathroom but for a vacation house blow people's socks off one, that's the one.
Somehow they all changed the exterior scenery too
All 3 were gorgeous. Lula and Alvin's designs' were beautiful but cold/HARD. They needed some softness like a luxurious rug, or a chaise in a nubby fabric.
@dianacanales2526

Agree. But to be fair to Alvin, he did suggest the owner could bring in any element of softness, such as a chaise, as they so choose. Maybe an actual visual would have clarified that for him, instead of just a verbal suggestion.

Imo Lula really just went for it! She had the opportunity to design the bathroom for her dreams and she gave EVERYTHING! Laura was very conscious of how a space is used in everyday life, which I appreciate, but her room really felt a bit jumbled together. Maybe that makes it feel more attainable and cozy for some people, but yeah... If I could choose, I would choose Lula's. In the hope that there's some hidden drawers etc. I really love the warmth Alvin used in his room, but it felt too empty to me. I respect him wanting to leave space for a potential owner, but this is a fantasy bathroom that he has to like! He could have added an ottoman or something he thinks is beautiful! I felt like Alvin could have been a bit more courageous! I would love to see him use his full fantasy! I can see the potential, he chose the most beautiful marble and colours imo.
Lauras has to be my favourite, not only is it warm and inviting, its also practical, maybe a little basic but overall very nice . Lulas was gorgeous and I can imagine being absolutely wowed upon entering the space but I think there were a few questionable decisions. The tub looks dangerous, and am i only supposed to take a bath when it rains? also with a hole in the ceiling I feel like it would become kind of gross and those grooves in the ceiling would pick up mold overtime. Alvins I found really lacking overall. The colors didn't work for me, and the overuse of marble came off as a little tacky.
This has quickly become one of my favorite series!
I like that Lula made the tub the focal point (i.e putting it in the middle of the room) but I don't think the rainwater from the ceiling fixture is practical. It would work better as a skylight. I like that Laura remembered the importance of storage. I also liked her shower design.
LOVING Laura's design. I would never leave the bathroom 🤣🤣🤣

Same! I thought her design was the most practical, as well as beautiful. And I love that she brought in plants that greatly improve aesthetics, softening the room, making it more inviting and relaxing.
LOVE Laura's design! So earthy and cozy.
Lula's bath would go well in a resort with her "Sky bedroom" design; they fit well together. I like that Laura has the option of covering the windows. In this age of superzoom lenses, being high up might not mean anything if another tall building is in view, like the one in Alvin's rendering.
This series is soo spectacular. I absolutely love it. Lula's design is HEAVENLY! I gasped, screamed & even shed a tear. Mind blowingly gorgeous 😍
All need more storage- beautiful
absolutely love the roman bath inspired one, so beautiful, calming and luxurious
loved the way Lula's design was catered to the whole room getting wet - even the ceiling.

Wow, no one thought about towels, or all the toiletries we all keep in a bathroom! It has to be a functional space! If you take a bath or shower where do you put your robe/clothes on the floor? These 3 should remember time is a luxury, making the space fit for purpose is essential.

If I had a bathroom that large, I'd definitely want it luxurious. So I'm going with Lula
Am studying Interior and definitely wanna infuse Laura & Lula's designs. I loved theirs
Laura is the mother we all love and need. Alvin is the extravagant gay uncle who we occasionally meet. Lula is the older sister with whom we try to compete but will never outshine because she’s this genius being.
Lula Galeano - Best design by far.
I like how warm Laura’s bathroom is. It looks relaxing without all the stones and marbles, it’s a little too spacious for some reason but open space is definitely relaxing. I’d add Lula’s door to Laura’s design and have that outside access. How beautiful would it be walk out to the garden after a bath. Her rain shower Roman tub is very unique and seemed relaxing for a warm climate home. But the elevated tub with a few steps somehow make it feel not very safe for me. I’d like the tub sink in lower and I think that’ll highlight the window/door even more. It would be so awesome if the door is also round like her bedroom design from the other episode. I’m not loving Alvin’s design. It seems rich and boring. Luxurious, yes but I find none of it interesting.
Lula’s design is spectacular. Very impressive!
This is like the 3rd of this that i've seen these 3 amazing designers in but Laura's design decisions speak to me the most, consistently. You want to experience and enjoy the space but at the same remember your human realities and have a touch of practicality. Makes the space realistically livable without compromising on the design. ❤️
Lula Galeano I love your design! So inspiring!
Laura with no hesitation. Serene, practical, humble, yet classy
I love Laura’s design simple and calming it Looks neat and organized. Lula is the least for me because the steps on the tub is not safe specially when we get off the tub wet.
Lula's design is one of the best single challenge I've seen in AD so far. Well done. Brilliant.
I really love this series. I also like that you changed up the designers so we can see different aesthetics.
I really love Lulu's concept because it is really free and imaginative but she still bases her ideas in some functionality and culture by brining in the roman baths concepts. Bathing in her design almost feels ceremonial and special!
All butrooms is beautiful, but more I like a Lula's solution. It's brilliantly, creative and unexpected.
I like Alvin’s the best, especially that he put it in NYC and that he left the windows unadorned. His is the most elegant and luxurious.
Lula's design is my favorite! But realistically Laura would be my choice for my home.
I feel Lula's "shower head + skylight" could be designed to use either/both heated rainwater and a series of shower faucets to simulate rainwater... and still look the exact same.
I love Laura European style and ideas applied in this bathroom. How beautiful the bathtub and rain shower idea is and having access to an outdoor space is genius 🤩🤩🤩

I love that he put it in a city high-rise too! Most of the designers don’t think about moving the entire room’s location! He’s clever 😊
All 3 designs are amazing in their own unique way, however, the space its still a bathroom. They talked about functionality, but as they are done, they are not functional. Laura was the only one to include 2 storage options, although in a bathroom this large, there were lots of different ways to have more storage spaces and still get the luxury, spa like feeling.
Lula's vision and choices are so tastefully imaginative...just love her designs. I also appreciate Laura's sense for natural materials.
I want Alvin's walls and vanity, Laura's tub (but in the center of the room) and shower, and Lula's gigantic floating window/wall thing. My budget is 4$.
Lula'a design is a clear win for me. Italians are so sophisticated in their creativity.
I love love love LOVE Lula's design! It's so unique and I've never seen anything like it. It has so much thought and purpose put into the design. She really went wild on the design and I love that about her.
I like Lula's bathtub and Laura's colors, but neither feels the most practical. Having divets in the walls and ceiling sounds like a great way for mold to grow since bathrooms are hot and humid so often.

Lula Galeanos solution is genius - thinking out of the box! Never saw such an bathroom
Lulu's placement of sink is what i love the most, that natural light from the windows is a thumbs up for me. Also, when I am brushing my teeth it's nice to see the views outside
Lula had me with the door & tub🛁 but the idea of getting out of that tub… all of see is slipping down the marble steps in all ones’s glory😂 but it’s a fantasy bathroom soooo yeah, what a fun project.
I love how Lula is inspired by classic design. There's a sense that I went to the past but grounded enough for me to stay present and modern. Stunning bathroom!
damn lula's was so unique
For me Lula def takes it, by far. I had high expectations on Laura since it could be more of my style, but it misses something and I don't like the sinks
I am in love with Lula's design. It's so next level and mind bending!
Lula pros: I absolutely love how Lula always goes out of the box and tries to change the whole layout of the space while incorporating earthy yet modern designs and shapes into the design Cons: I think her designs are a bit impractical like the whole rain shower head is a bit of a turnoff although it looks pretty sophisticated Laura Pros: Laura's design is the most practical and sustainable one with elements like storage pieces and natural warm tones around the bathroom. Cons: I didn't like the fact that she refused to change the floors which was a major part of the whole design and it gave me a feeling that the design is incomplete. It was also a rather ordinary design and I couldn't find anything distinct or unique about it. Alvin Pros: I found alwin's design as the most inviting one as it was the only bathroom I could imagine myself taking the best shower in out of the three designs. I absolutely loved the marble flooring and the vanity and how contemporary he made the whole look Cons: I feel that he could've changed the layout of the bathroom which would have opened more design opportunities. He limited his design to the existing layout which for me felt like just furnishing the space and not re-designing it.
