Checking the price increases over the last twelve months reveals just how crazily undersupplied the housing market is. Increases of 25-50% in a year is nuts.

My husband and I really want to move to Florida. Our daughter is a graduate student at UF. She will soon be a pharmacist. We definitely need to be closer to her. With hope she will marry one day and give us grandchildren. Fingers crossed! But we are both having health issues and know that the Florida sunshine would benefit our health. I actually lived in Florida for two years in the 80s. Neptune beach. Beautiful little town. And we have been timeshare owners for many years. So we are no stranger to Florida. That’s why our daughter left us for the Florida sun, we spoiled her going to Disney every spring an fall break. The first home has such a great bedroom . The color is a happy color. Love the kitchen in the last home. But we have 3 Siberian Huskies so we will be needing a dog run. The homes are gorgeous! Thank you so much for showing them to us. I’ll be a Floridian soon. Leslye

Would these 3 neighborhoods be considered “Orlando Area” on your website?

Make no mistake, this market is crazy high. Even if you wanted to live in a gated community mobile home, it's borderline unaffordable.

My mom is over 55 and we all want to move to Florida. It's her, my brother who has a disability, myself and my teenaged daughter. Are these places only for 55+ or could we live with her?

I am single and prefer tiny homes that are not mobile homes. Does Florida have tiny home communities for 55 plus?

The Villages has 2 br homes around 1200sf. Huge area with a lot of activities too, in fact I think it is the largest 55+ community in the country.

Louis L there is a tiny home community in Orlando, on a lake. I''m not fond of the area It's located in. It's not 55 plus.

You don't own the land in these 55 + communities.. It's glorified RENT..Bills and fees, everyone telling what you can do with your Land.. Except pay the taxes..Then there is the so called home owners association..more like secret police..Always wanting to fine you for some petty infraction, no Matter, I don't want to live in a PRISON environment..I only want and own land With fee absolute..

I was wondering about that....my mom lived in a condo and it was horrible with the police/council members....basically a bunch of retired "former" executives who were trying to maintain some level of corporate control in a silly condo. I am fine with upkeep and respect - but if it is an area that is too restricted, not a good fit for me. Otherwise, I quite liked the sites and a wonderful job to the realtor!

These houses are ugly. Please try to hide the garages. Try to find a better architect.
