Very true... but dont do it with a tight ponytail in your hair trying to be cute, because those edges will not be cute. (Speaking from experience) My body is looking ah-mazing, but now I have to work on my edges. My recommendation: work on maintaining/building healthy body, skin, and hair at the same time.

I really honor and appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I am a cosmetologist of 35 plus years! I consider myself a Hair Care Specialist rather than a Stylist. I've researched, tested remedies on myself, then share results with my Queen Clients. So far, everything I've done has been verified by your videos! I've also learned alot about making sure my carrier oils are sufficient as well from you. Can you do a segment on how lace fronts secured by 'hair glue' is affecting the follicles, tight braids and people who choose to shampoo infrequently simply because they are wearing braids and sew in weaves. I shampoo my Queen Clients crochet, braids, sew in weaves every 2 to 3 weeks. They experience no breakage, and healthy hair. Thanks again for your brilliance!

All of this is so true. I have been anemic and low in vitamin D since I was 11 and couldn’t get my levels up no matter what I did was still deficient until this year (I’m 28 now). I finally figured out how to get my iron and vitamin d levels up and cut out certain food items out of my life. After doing this, I started taking 50000mcg vitamin D and liquid iron and now I notice I have more energy, and my hair is growing thick again. I cut it down to half an inch in August and now it’s at almost 4 inches.

Applying paraben-free and fragrance free hair shampoo and massaging twice a week with hair oil from litttleextra's cocooonion oil. Important to remember that hair growth is affected by general health as well as circulation and nutrition.

That's really all it is. Hair is always growing, unless there is an underlining medical issue. You just have to learn how to handle your hair correctly. Even shampooing is something to learn correctly because you could tangle your hair up and cause so much breakage.

@ageofaquarius13not rice water. It can make hair brittle by adding too much protein. Just had a client that did this and that hair was breaking off left and right. Just stick to the basics with a good shampoo and conditioner followed by leave in conditioner and then sealed with oil. Also stop combing through the ends so hard. Pretend it’s a brand new baby and be patient. Let the product detangle it for you.

Dermatologists do not look at blood because that is not their specialty.... they're skin doctors. If your skin & nails are brittle, you have jaundice, that would've indicated to them that something's wrong internally/deficiency. They'd send you to your doctor to get vitals done. Your PCP/Internist/NP check blood when you go for your physical, which is why it's important to stay consistent with your check ups. The blood experts in medicine are hematologists....they'll peep if there are any abnormalities in your blood - red blood count (RBC), white blood count (wbc), plasma, iron, vitamin deficiencies, any cancer forming, etc

Sorry if it's too personal a question but, are you maybe anaemic? I don't mean just having low iron, but having something called sickle cell anaemia. You mentioned being cold a lot even with a slight wind, and that is a symptom _(that I've witnessed in one of my closest friends)_ closely linked to sickle-cell anaemia.

You are probably anemic which is condition that is very common amongst black women. Try to add to your diet fruit and veggies high in iron silica and zinc : cabbage , spinach, Moringa, black molasses, horsetail , beetroot … You can also take supplement to restore your iron level from time to time . Seek medical advice for that. And if you drink black, tea, green tea , earl grey , darjeeling tea , Ceylon tea you need to reduce the consumption and favor herbal tea like horsetail, hibiscus, Moringa ….

I noticed that my eyebrows have gotten thicker since I've been using it and I wondered what caused that. I use a couple of different actives, so I just wasn't sure, but I really do think now it was the caffeine.

@@creamyy8820 that’s good you’ve learned. My hair has been growing like crazy but one thing that helped me is knowing your hair. Once you know your hair , you’ll know what works and how much you need!🫶🏾
