Also flip the camera recording to be upside down, so you dont have to flip the video in post

@@ReverseKadz neutral density filter. (Basically like sunglasses for your camera to allow longer exposure and therefore more natural motion blur. (Will give the electronic stabilizatiom trouble tho so not always advisable)

What type of chest mount do u have

This only work on blue trails. When it getting rowdy. It shakes way to mutch. Full face chinmount is the way.

I agree chin mount is better, but the Chesty holds up okay with the hypersmooth on the GoPro!

All my vertical videos are shot with a Insta360 GO 2. I’d recommend purchasing a vertical GoPro adapter from ProBike3D on Etsy. He 3D prints adapters that work great! It’s what DangerousDave uses to film his GoPro videos

Better take 360 degree go pro mount buddy. You can rotate it any time

I just got it on the helmet under the visor and it is way better view and don’t need to be wearing extra stuff.

I like to use a screw driver to tighten the bolt on the GoPro mount. This will make sure you it doesn’t move. Also, make sure your chest mount it as tight as possible!

swap to LINEAR or WIDE instead of superview - superview@60fps always overheats ive noticed....if its still an issue, try reducing to 4k 30fps but linear should do it

@@MTBCoop I think the tripod won't be comfortable, the hike will cover a lot of distance like Day 1 24kms Day 2 36kms Day 6 40kms Will it be comfortable holding the tripod all along the entire Trek.? Or any trap would be comfortable?

Great question! I’d recommend playing around until you find the angle you prefer. Once you find that don’t hesitate to make your mark!

He is talking about where the mount and go pro slides inbetween. So whenever you get the right filming angle put a straight line across where you attach the mount and gopro so whenever you need the right film angle you just need to line it back up with the lines you put down.

Basically, if you want to get the exact position every time you put on your gopro, you line up the marker writing that you made.

I had to make sure to tighten the chest mount as much as possible. You will also notice GoPro stabilization is reduced in low light. What GoPro do you use?

For anyone wondering, you can lock the orientation of your GoPro while filming. I have it locked upside down so I don’t need to rotate the footage after the fact!

Why not just helmet chin mount

unlock the orientation setting on the gopro and it will automatically orient upwards....if you do record it locked upside down its easy edit to rotate video....hit CTRl + Shift + R after DLing to your PC

I have a protip.. no one watches your mountain bike videos. Just enjoy the moment. The only time some one will watch it is on LiveLeak

Go-pro is so outdated tbh.

@@MTBCoop and honestly, I was looking to sell all of my go-pro gear for a 360.. but they sell their gear way to high in price. I wanted to get a Go2, cant find any, looking into the Go3, in stock with higher price and not so much of an upgrade in tech... its sad.
