That is so correct that new people should start off slowly in bushcrafting and those ladies will be better off in a tent to sleep the night. I know you will teach them the right way to camp out and survive in the forest. They have the perfect teacher to show them what they need in bushcraft. I bet those young ladies learned so much about camping and is looking forward to going out again and learning even more.

Vanessa, it is easy to see you have a passion for the woods and the lands as well......Showing your skills is good ,but teaching them is a very different reward,, .....Your patience in teaching is wonderful,, your friends (students )of the crafts ,will learn with joy.....as you do ,teach correct way,,not always the easy way...always safety first.....skills learned will be life long and where they learned them will never be forgotten.....fire skills,,knife/saw blade use,,proper water gathering,, filter purpose or boiling when without filter will keep someone alive,,skills everyone in the outdoors should know......your love and respect for the environment is clear to see ....Thank You for sharing your class,, look forward to videos to come.................And always........Stay Safe and God Bless.........

Vanessa. Just found this video. Looks like Marina Mike loved theirs time in woods. They were quite efficient at using ferro rod. You are a good teacher. The shelter was very good. I just love your accent. I love when you let your hair down. A beautiful lady. Going through your videos gradually.

I love how careful and deliberate the new girls are. They don't just "rush in" so to speak, but are clearly very mindful of their novice status, and allow themselves time to learn and master the various skills cautiously. I do believe many women are more patient than us men in general, which also likely helps in this regard. I'm sure they learned a great deal, in just that short span of time. Great video as always, Vanessa.

How precious to see you sharing your wealth of knowledge with these young ladies. I too enjoy teaching, as when my 4 & 5 year old granddaughters tied their first shoelace...To see that joy & pride too in their faces...just priceless.... The same, I thought when the girls flint/steel fires caught, their faces alight as the tinder...Thank you all 3 so much.

It sounded like the birds in the back ground were warning the animals, look out everybody, there is three lovely ladies in the woods. :O) Another Vanessa masterpiece

Hello Vanessa! Well I must say, u r a very inspirational instructor, I paused the video to read what u were saying to the girls, u were direct and precise, there were no non sense words, I have no doubt that anyone u take out, will learn well from u!!! They did a wonderful job on their 1st shelter, making fire and constructing utensils, learning about wild edibles and tea. U have tough them a lot n such a short time. U r right n what u said about their 1st night being a good one, they’ll never go back if it’s a bad one, but keep n mind, whoever u take out there may be interested at 1st, May realize it’s not their cup of tea once they’ve experienced their 1st outing, so keep n mind that, that is no reflection on u, u did an awesome job with them, and whoever else u take to the woods, u r patient and kind, with a very big heart, if I were a teenager u took out to teach me bushcraft/survival skills, I’d have felt it an honor to learn from u! I will be 59 n May, and it touched my heart when u gave us viewers a good night kiss, + at my age, you are an inspiration to me. u r a very caring person!!! As for the mouse, did it think that because it couldn’t see u, u didn’t see him/her, that was too funny!!! Thank u Vanessa, ur a sweetheart!

Hi Vanessa, It's lovely that you have Marina and Meike to join you for their first time staying overnight in the forest. This would be the perfect solution, to your earlier video of protecting the forests from people with no respect for nature, to learn the art of Bushcraft, as there is so much to learn. A beautiful early morning chorus, is part of the magic of being outdoors, and I'm sure, Marina and Meike enjoyed their time with you, and a great introduction to bushcraft for them. Thank you all for sharing this so import adventure, it was so enjoyable.

Your the perfect teacher for bushcraft and the outdoors activitys ! I think you should do camps with say ten students at a time , sharing your knowledge base :) your a natural camp guide and teacher !!! Maybe some bouldering and climbing skills could be a good addition , as it's also one of your passions that may interest students :)

Hi Vanessa, your videos are so refreshing, in the fact that you continue to introduce new interesting perspectives. This time, with the young girls and teaching them a little about bushcraft skills. I want to commend you for your patience, and letting them struggle a little with the fire stick. Sometimes the most difficult thing to do as a teacher is refraining from just doing it yourself. Thanks for another beautiful video and a nice Saturday morning.

No trees were killed or hurt in the making of this video. (joke) I like the natural shelter best of all using the dead wood, leaves, and grass sod. Nice job by the whole crew. Nice video and a great little campsite. My kinda girl.

Great Video. You are very industrious, a shelter and a set of cutlery. Its nice to see the lovely green colours of late spring after winter. The slow worm you found is a non-venomous legless lizard. Don't pick him up by his tail or he will shed it as part of his defence mechanism. Great fire starting demonstration. You are getting very professional with your presentations. Well done

You mentioned the color of your tent and how it doesn’t blend in with the forest, I believe that many manufacturers make brighter tent colors to make it easier to find the tent. If a person gets lost or rescuers need to try and locate them, it is much easier to find if the color isn’t the same as the surroundings or simply blends into the woods. Love your videos and your passion for the outdoors. It is great to see younger people wanting to learn about the outdoors. Hopefully you are inspiring many younger people to put down their smart phones and live in reality instead of virtual reality.
