I would only say Kathryn you are not enough we need more of you😊 more often❤
Hello, Kathryn, I’m new to your channel but I’m loving it! I wanted to let you know that I thought about you today. I live in Sevierville, TN, and today there was a man standing on the street corner with a sign…one side said, “Smile you are beautiful!” And the other side said, “You are worthy, enough, and loved by God!” You are so positive and uplifting to all your viewers. God bless you! 😊❤️❤️❤️
I'm 68, and I live in a senior community. I have picked up some pretty incredable antiques tossed away when the owner has passed. I got three refrigerator containers made of glass with lids. They sell for 18.00 each. I picked them up for .75!!!
Once, I found an old chair at a yard sale for $2.00. The cushion was covered in an old tapastry and was dryrotted, and the wooden seat area was warped. I took it home. Stripped it, painted it, and got a new plank of wood for the bottom. Used a pillow as the new cushion and covered it with an old plaid blanket I had. I then did a mosaic design on the back, using broken tiles in the matching colors of the cushion. I went to my local tile shop and asked if I could have any broken pieces. The guy gave me a whole box of bits and pieces for free. I still have that chair and love it.😊

Yay, we love Kathryn. Everything was beautiful but I liked #1 the most. 💖💖💖💖
Wow! That coffee table is GORGEOUS!!! Great job, Kathryn!
I've never gotten anything from the side of the road, but it's my favorite way to get rid of things! I can't believe how quickly things get picked up sometimes!

Same. We just moved and I put a ton of random stuff on the curb. All of it was taken to a new home which saved me time and other people money! Win win!
"I decorate my home with vintage finds" made me smile. Because I don't change my decor much, I have had my decor long enough that it now qualifies as vintage.

If it's over 20yrs old it's vintage... But it has to be atleast 20yrs old otherwise it's just old 😂

@xxkarlosxxxxxx7233 Most of my decor is 30-50 years old-- definitely vintage. I don't care about trends. Many items were collected from an artist.
The raw edge table is EVERYTHING! ❤it!!!
tack cloth will remove all the dust without any moisture that could get trapped under the varnish and cause bubbles down the road

It's a good idea to use a wet cloth before your final sand, since it raises the grain. Then your final sanding takes that raised grain down again. Otherwise, your poly coat may raise the grain and make your final result bumpy.

@@MyFocusVaries In the 18 years I bought old furniture and refinished it myself for my house, and to sell, I never had any issues doing it my way. :)
They are all so beautiful but the midnight dresser is STUNNING
I always get so excited when your videos pop up and YES I ❤ free stuff.
I love all three of the wood pieces, but I have to go with #1 as my favorite! This is a great "how-to" video!
That coffee table and chest drawer is absolutely gorgeous ❤❤❤
I'm originally from CA and my father used to pick up redwood/burl pieces. He is gone now but those pieces live on❤
They all look fabulous, but I’m loving that raw edge table!
I could literally watch these kinds of videos all day.
Number one is my favorite but let’s be real they all are my favorites come on haha. Love you sweet Kathryn!! You are the best!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love furniture flips! I’d have to say #1 is my favorite, but seriously love them all! 😍
Aww Kathryn pretty please do more thrift or trash to treasure videos loooove it ❤❤❤❤❤
#1 was my favorite! I love saving furniture, refinishing & making it new again❤
Wow, that table came out so beautiful. I used to like free things, but since my husband passing I no longer go looking for treasures. Hod bless you and your family.🦋💜

That live edge table was THE PERFECT size for an entry table!! Wow I love it!! Craftsy sounds awesome!!
That table IS gorgeous!!! Love this video!!! Kathryn, you are the best. Thank you
I can't choose a favorite piece because I absolutely love them all. ❤ I also love, love, love your vintage finds.❤ Great video.
Kathryn, you are a breath of fresh air and an inspiration!!! LOVE your videos!!! I can’t choose which one is best so my vote is for ALL 3.
Number 1 is definitely my favorite. It came out beautifully.
The raw edge table is amazingly beautiful! That's my favorite.
Upcycling and flipping furniture is one of my favorite paid hobbies. I love that oak table! That looked amazing.
Finding that Bassett piece in such good shape in the trash was a major find! A little bit of sanding and hardware swap changed it to a classic piece. All three pieces came out beautifully. Well done!
They ALL turned out stunning❕ Ginkgo Leaves is my fav. 😎👍👍
I LOVE the #3 make-over of the Midnight Magic dresser! *chef kiss!* ❤
As someone who has been doing this. I have thrifted everything from swung glass, Tonala Mexican pottery, to many valuable things that if they were in antique stores I wouldn't afford otherwise. Research everything. Some furniture is worth more in original finishes. Those project were definitely well done.
My husband and I used to love doing this. Since his stroke it is no longer easy to do by myself. It still amazes me when I see what people throw away.
All pieces turned out beautiful!!!!
My husband reluctantly stops. But loves what I get!❤
#2 is my favorite. It is SO refreshing to watch you create such beautiful furniture from someone else's trash. I am so sick of hearing "decluttering pros" on KZread justify throwing out usable items because "they will end up in a landfill anyway" while you show how those things can be used and repurposed to add beauty and joy to our homes. I have picked up some GREAT things that I use from the side of the road. (Also, the swap shop in my recycling center has better things than I can find in the stores!) I found a great coffee table that I have no idea what to do with but you gave me and idea on how I can look for inspiration online. You also have given me ideas on how to use things I already have. Last summer, for example, I took some sand, driftwood and seaweed home from a day at the beach. In March, I put those things in one of my family's glass jars and it feels exactly like that day on the beach! As you mentioned, something like that might sell in a gift shop for $35 or $40 dollars. Thanks so much for your creative and useful videos. YOU are making SUCH a difference.
I love the raw edge table but all three are amazing. Sooo love your channel. YOU are enough!!
I loved refinishing furniture. You have reignited my desire to refinish some pieces I already have at home.
HECK YEA, Love roadside finds!!!😍🥰
We LOVE finding roadside treasures! Working on a piece right now♥️I love the raw wood! Also the chest in draws! You and I are a lot alike 😊 you are gorgeous inside and out 💕
Oh my goodness, that coffee table is stunning! I also love the raw edge table.
I am putting casters on a kitchen wall cabinet to make an island. The counter top will be a slap of live-edged maple oil-rubbed with butcher block oil.
I love all of them! My favorite was the raw edge tall table. My friend took a piece of raw edge 6 foot slab and made me the most beautiful charcuterie board! It goes with me to every girls' weekend. It was even the main piece at an outdoor wedding. You made the most beautiful pieces !!
OMG.... amazing!!!! Can't just choose one. ALL 3 are my favorite!!!!
Those wood tables are FABULOUS!
That coffee table is absolutely gorgeous!!
Raw edge table is beautiful- as you are - such a bright and cheerful person 😊
Not able to choose a favorite, they all are different and beautiful!❤
Raw edge beauty is right up my alley!!! Beautiful projects!!!!
I love free stuff on road.
All are gorgeous! But #2 is my favorite 😍
All of your projects are absolutely beautiful! Nice work 👏
I like #1. You are so crafty. You are definately enough.😊❤❤❤
Omg! I love that raw edge piece! Now inhave my eye out for slices of wood😍
#1 is my favorite. I see stuff all the time that I can use in my house - the problem..I need to own a truck!😅
That sofa table is absolutely gorgeous!! Outstanding job!!
Those Ginko drawer pulls are so lovely esp on the coffee table. I love how you finished each piece of furniture! I love the wood slab, too

You are amazing I love all your videos ❤️
Hello Catherine, I love them all. They’re all beautiful . I really appreciate all your videos. Keep up the good work. God bless you and your family always in our heart.
It's a toss up between #1 and #2. Love both of them! Thanks for all your videos!! From your fellow North Carolinian.😉🥰😇
Two was my favorite mainly because of the livewood edge. I love them all and can't wait to see More.
I’m always scoring with free furniture along the streets that are beautiful pieces the way they are or to do a makeover. I found this 3 leg table where the legs were turned on a lathe and the table top is an inlaid wood design that is absolutely gorgeous and on the bottom it says made in Italy. I’ve never looked it up, I should. There was not one thing wrong with it, the lady just didn’t want it anymore and set it out on the curb for garbage pick up. I’m so glad I grabbed it before the garbage truck came. As for your three projects, my favorite is the coffee table and the unique shape natural wood slab piece. Both of those are gorgeous.
Katherine, you are amazing. Been following you sbout a year now. You are my fav DIYeron You Tube! Thank-you!
These are great flips!! Let's see more of them!!❤❤

Absolutely the raw edge beauty! It came from beauty and returns to beauty.

I loved number 1, it is gorgeous!! All you furniture makeovers are great and you gave me lots of ideas!! Thank you!!
Loved it all, but that first table was stunning! Didn’t know about the bleach trick!
#2 was the best for me just knowing that it was just the raw wood 🪵 of the tree 🌳 and what you did to it made it beautiful
