3 FAKE piano skills that make BEGINNERS sound like PROS

Музыка

What’s up my piano friends!! Today’s video we’re going go over 3 easy piano tricks for beginners that sound impressive you can use instantly. And amaze your friends and family of course ;)
I call them Fake Piano Skills, not because they’re actually “Fake”, but because I’m just giving you easy stuff to play without really understanding the meat-and-potatoes behind the skills.
And my hope is you have so much fun learning these that you get excited and motivated to learn piano for real (if you aren’t already!)
Here’s what we’ll cover:
00:00 Intro
00:20 The “Tear Jerker” Pattern
02:02 The “Heart Melter” Pattern
06:13 The “Song Generator” (the MOST impressive!!)
Make sure you stick around to the end - the third skill is the most impressive BY FAR, and also actually might be a bit easier to learn than the first two.
Oh, and btw if you’re a complete beginner, no worries, this tutorial is specifically designed for beginners, and we start slow and take absolute baby steps tot make sure you’ll get it frustration-free.
Happy practicing!
-Zach

If you want to learn how to play piano just stay on the piano for all course and practice. You will be amazed at what you will accomplish! Here's the link to the video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gaKqytNyg9LgZqg.html To anyone who wants to learn to play piano as well: - Focus fully on your practice sessions, avoiding distractions. Be present and attentive to the sound, feeling, and technique of your playing. Mindful practice leads to more effective learning and progress. - Before diving into your practice session, warm up your fingers and hands with simple exercises like scales, arpeggios, and finger stretches. This helps prevent injury and improves dexterity. - Use a recording device or a smartphone to record yourself playing. Listening back to your recordings can provide valuable feedback on areas for improvement, such as timing, dynamics, and expression. See you guys when we're playing piano on the moon.

Mr. Zach, , Raj from India. Today, I am in a better position with keyboard basics, unlike 2 years ago, understand easily what u say in ur tutorials. Thank you again, whatever you stressed here is just good enough for a beginner and is true. With all my appreciations, I say, this is called Value Addition to piano playing from an expert, all experts cannot think like u, to prepare simple meal from Complex music theory and serve on table by teachings, encouraging, persistent on practice. Hats off to you Mr. Zach. I practice all u taught at this age of 62y. I do also think in similar way like u think, to share my learnings in my engineering field over years for young engineer's.

the second strategy is a classic four note pattern, its used in heart and soul the famous duet piece. using this method you can also change the f you go to 3rd to a d and it will sound pretty cool. the d and f are two notes apart making them a good sounding pair allowing for the f be substituted by the D and still sound cool.

These are great tips. I learned piano through sight reading with no ear training and very little chord progression theory and practice. Nevertheless, I was able through trial and error to develop the techniques necessary to improvise on simple chord progressions. I recognize some of these tips from learning guitar recently. I noticed that the melodic runs being used generally corresponded to the pentatonic scale, which makes sense because that scale is the most compatible with any scalar form (mode) in the originating key. A pro-tip might be to start with the middle C or A note.

At the moment I just learn a few easy songs I like, or play around with some chords when I am motivated enough & have time. My main goal is to just keep enjoying it as much as possible without it ever seeming to much like work. Possibly be about 90 by the time I am any good 😂 Don't even know if the emotional face will help a t m 🤣 Cheers!

This is a lot of cool music theory. For #1 and #2 you're improvising over a sort of power chord (only 1st and 5th note) in the same key. In #3 you're using the relative minor key of C (A minor) which turns the C major scale into A minor and allows you to do exactly the same simple improvising using the same notes but get a minor tonality. Very nice.

OK. So I just started piano today. And with mixing up Tear Jerker and Heart Melter I was able to free style some pretty cool stuff. I have no idea WHAT the notes are, but it sounded pretty awesome. And I could get the "feel" of using both hands and got an idea of rhythm (which didn't quite work for me at the very beginning). 4 hours later of having a great time on the piano (hands are VERY tired) and feel satisfied. THANK YOU!

I'm in awe....I took piano lessons as a kid... learned to read music, and teach myself to play bass...learned music theory in college, so I REALLY appreciated this...that chord progression in the left hand was something I predicted he would do ... GREAT VIDEO!!!!

This was the video I needed man. Long time stubborn guitar player. So I just started playing the 🎹. And I just use the 3-3-1 method from any note and of course your suspended keys. But this open up a whole new playing field. Thanks! New subscriber, but looking forward to watching more of these great Videos. thanks again!

I can read music, played tenor sax for many years, play a bit of piano by ear, and took two semesters of music theory in college. In those two semesters no one mentioned the good ol' I - v i- IV - V progression. Here in less than 6 minutes you have folks sounding good with that progression. When moving to the A minor chord I usually furrow my brow a little more and throw in a pronounced forward head bob.
