It tastes too delicious and filling to be helping me get ripped. Everyone please chime in maybe I should add i fast 20 hours every day after this shake right the way through until the next evening

    Autumn I am new, I admit to binging your channel for the last 24 hours. I am insulin resistant, 42 & struggling more with my weight. I appreciate the science you provide & the recipes. I am hoping you can help me figure out a problem I have. I struggle with your recipes because I have a few food allergies ( most tree nuts...almonds, coconut, bananas latex). What can I use?

  • @AutumnBates

    @AutumnBates

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi Stephanie! For swapping out bananas, you can use 1/2 cup cauliflower rice in smoothies or 1/2 avocado (or another low sugar fruit such as berries). You can also swap any of the nuts for an alternative fat such as seeds (hemp, chia, flax, etc).

    Hey Autumn, I have two questions! I love health and I’m only 14 so I’m not sure if IF is okay for me to do? Also, I have done in for a while now, but have been very nauseous lately doing it. Should I try alternating every other day. I’ve also found it can create disorder eating for me so I want to stop, but I’m afraid I’ll loose muscle mass or gain fat. What is your thoughts? Lots of love🤍

  • @AutumnBates

    @AutumnBates

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi Isabella! That’s great you’re interested in nutrition! IF can be a fantastic tool, however if you find that it’s not good for your relationship with food, then I would recommend instead focusing on eating until satiated and emphasizing high quality proteins fats and fibers. These will help provide the essential amino acids and fatty acids that are necessary for the body while still feeling great. I have a TON of videos on this concept in my healthy eating playlist that you can check out. As you are likely still growing, you’ll want to make sure you check in with your doctor or a nutritionist to ensure you’re getting enough nutrients for your body’s needs. 🤓❤️
