3 Dollar Homemade Ramen | But Cheaper

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

No, this isn't instant ramen so don’t ask. I'm talking about the gourmet ramen that costs $15 or more for a single bowl! That's just unacceptable so I'll show you how to make homemade gourmet miso ramen for just 3 dollars that'll make all categories of ramen from fancy to instant look bad.

Then I decided to try this recipe bc i have never made ramen before and after spending money to have mediocre ramens delivered I thought it was time to learn how to cook it. Let's say hypothetically I was going to use store bought chicken stock. I mean, I'm not, but let's just be crazy and say I am. Should I be heating that up a bit before pouring it over the mix, or just raw doggin it from room temp? Love you papa. EDIT: Just did this tonight. Here's my findings. The stock is fine to add raw dog. The ginger advised was way too much for me personally. Balanced it out with some soy sauce and a bit more miso. Also don't do the first part in a stainless pot. It sticks and will smoke up your whole house in .5 seconds. OTHER THAN THAT. This turned out super delicious.

Hey Josh! I made this recipe and it turned out great. My issue is,I live in a place where there aren't restaurants specifically for ramen. Most of the places I ordered Ramen from, had it really overpriced and the quality was bad. Very little toppings and overall bad ramen compared to what I've seen online. This is legit the best ramen I had so far. And it's affordable. I think it would be perfect with something green in it,like bok choy or maybe some bean sprouts. I'll surely be eating more of this.

Anyways what I'm getting at is that there are plenty of creators who do very good with just a smartphone and maybe assistance from a budget laptop, the reason Josh has high quality content is because he takes A LOT of pride in his work and wants it displayed as best as it can be. TBH the more money you make on KZread the less you actually do yourself, most creators just film and send all of the clips to an editor who lives in the opposite time zone and some don't even manage or upload to their own channels.

Joshua takes a lot of liberties when he calculates the cost so here's a real breakdown of the cost. Prices were found from my local Walmart and Amazon for specialty items. Miso Ramen: 7 cloves garlic, finely minced $1.76 (Can be assumed) 3-inch knob ginger, grated $0.90 2 medium shallots, finely diced $1.88 1/2 lb (225g) ground pork $5.17 4 Tbsp (60g) miso (yellow or red miso) $8.63 (Amazon) 1.5 Tbsp sesame seeds toasted, ground by hand finely $3.93 1 Tbsp hon dashi *optional* $7.79 (Amazon) 1 Tbsp (14g) sugar $2.94 (Can be assumed) 5.5 cups chicken stock $2.92 x 2 Salt to taste $0.98 (Can be assumed) Ramen topping: 4 eggs $1.97 (Can be assumed) 1 container (4 servings) Ramen noodles NA 1 green onion thinly sliced $0.88 1/2 cup corn (1 stalk) $3.98 3 Tbsp unsalted butter. $3.98 (Can be assumed) Nori cut into tabs $2.74 Sesame seeds *optional* (Included already) Chili oil *optional* $7.52 Total if you were to buy everything: $60.89 If you already had the assumed items: $49.26 Hope this helps anyone actually considering to make this

I would like to see shrimp and grits. I had this at a restaurant for $17.5 and was amazing borderline phenomenal but would love to do it from home for cheaper. It was 2 cheesy grit square patties grilled with a layer of spinach between surrounded and topped with a hefty portion of shrimp and a what I can only describe as a buttery cheese sauce.
