Gosh, I needed this reminder. Our pup hit 5 months old and I feel like I'm starting from ground zero again with her. She's no longer interested in food, doesn't really pay attention to us like she used to, barks now and is big enough that counter surfing is fun for her. Just such a good reminder on how to help our relationship with her.Thank you thank you thank you!

Hi, you are an amazing couple and I’ve learned so much, your mantra to train people and no dog is not able to be trained is so true. Carol’s a diamond too, I’ve had great successes but it has taken patience and many repetitions to get where we are today, I have found one word can be used in many situations and it works so well for our Lakeland, who is a year old and such a loving member of our family. Just came across your channel. I do have to say that one thing that you help with with everybody is that many of us especially now, cannot afford to bring our babies a.k.a. puppies to get professionally trained it's very difficult very expensive many people have jobs and there are people like me that are disabled and just can't do it. So you even though you're not doing sessions with each individual person, you're giving us a chance to properly train our babies or even our older dogs. I'm a service dog trainer for myself. I have trained three service dogs now. But they came to me already basic trained. So I only had to train them via the service dog work I needed. So we just got a brand new puppy, we got her at nine weeks she's now 12 weeks old. And after watching your videos I realized yeah she's very very extremely smart, However Mamacita here was not doing her best as a puppy mom. So you have definitely helped me learn some things that I needed to learn that I didn't know I needed to learn

My dog and I just finished class 1 of grade 1, I honestly think after one class he's better and I'm better thank you.

Gah, how did I miss this?! 😫 Congratulations on the 40th anniversary, that's one hell of an anniversary (as old as myself 😅)! 💙🧡💙 Your videos have helped me immensely in "rearing up" my psychopup border collie who turned one year in March. The only major issue we're still having is her separation anxiety and fear of new things in general (but that's a part of her nature, so I deal with it as it turns up). 😔 P.S. I was in Vancouver, CA until mid-2020, but now am back in my home country Serbia. 😓

Hi I enjoy your videos but I’m not seeing any with small dogs. I just got two Yorkie and a Yorkie Poo they are three months so I am going to begin the potty training. I may have taken on more than I should of with getting three at one time. I see you use a collar on. Your puppy, is this a good thing to do? I tried to put a harness on mine but they are all too. Small for them so I am going to carry them outside to their designated spot which is currently an outside pen but I was wondering about the collar. Do you have any tips for. Yorkie? They are small so I will need to take them out more frequently. Thank. You for any information.

What are some examples of high value food/treats that are ok to use daily to train? I get nervous and I don’t know what foods are good? For example I saw a trainer using hot dogs but after looking it up I read hot dogs are terrible for dogs.

My 4 1/2 month old chocolate lab is afraid of me clipping his nails. Following your methods, he was potty trained in 3 days with only 3 house accidents. But I have had labs and I was always able to trim their nails. Help please. I am from Albrightsville PA. Love your you tube channel and thank you.
