My wife and I have taken this trip many times. About the time you were having breakfast on the final morning of your trip (about 30 minutes before the stop at Reno, Nevada), you passed by my house that looks out over the tracks, and had you been looking to the left at just the right moment, you might have seen me standing on my front porch waving to the train. Thank you again for sharing these trips.

Thank you so much for taking me with you on your adventures trough Canada and the USA. Thanks to you I've seen places, I'll never see in my entire life. It was so much fun to travel with you. Guessing which food you would order and how your little bedroom in the train would look like. I know it was A LOT of money, and it took many hours to edit all these videos. But it's highly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!❤ Can't wait to see your next adventure! Saying hi from the Netherlands. 🤗 🇳🇱

One suggestion for anyone taking this trip westbound: before you arrive in Denver, call or better yet order online from Snooze inside Denver's Union station. Amtrak will be servicing the train and change crews so you'll always have time to hop off the train and grab your to go order. There is also a decent place to get coffee in the station. It will almost certainly be the best breakfast or lunch you'll have while traveling the Zepher.

I rode the California Zephyr at the end of November. It was significantly cheaper, likely because there is less daylight than summer. Even then, though, there were so many incredible views to take in. This planet is nothing short of breathtaking. Thank you for sharing this and letting me relive that trip!

Three meals a day on Amtrak is around $100 USD in the dinning car no adult drinks so the fare you paid is pretty good. Even the snack bar meals are expensive for junk food. Did the same trip from Denver a couple months ago final stop San Diego in coach. After that trip I want around the country with Amtraks 30 days 10 stops for $499 coach no upgrades allowed no meals included. Was fun jumping off at a station in the middle of nowhere when I saw a kid selling snacks in a wagon. Asked him if he had anything healthy and he said he used to but people didn’t buy them. LQQking forward to a Japan 21 day rail pass and stopping at every station I can get a beer and bento.

Boardwalk is not America's favorite soap brand. Most of us have never heard of it and it's probably sold just to trains or hotels. It was a nice train ride though. Kodiak oatmeal is good. That's not rice in your dinner. It's Israeli couscous. A different type of grain. Israeli couscous is large grain but regular couscous is small. Maybe one day you can see Grand Canyon. Emeryville is on the other side of the bay from San Francisco. My granddaughter lives there.

The Bow and Arrow is a sculpture by Claes Oldenburg and his wife Coosje von Bruggen. Well known for doing out of scale sculptures of everyday objects. Here in KC, we have the Shuttle Cocks. In Denver they have an oversized dust pan and brush. In Minneapolis they have the cherry on spoon. Might be worth a trip to do various cities visited via public transport to see famous works of art.

I so enjoy watching your videos, especially your Japan videos. Even though I have been to many different places in my lifetime (military family), Japan was one place we never got to go to. We were supposed to, but that trip had to be cancelled. I have been to other Asian countries though and have very fond memories of that particular trip (this was back in the mid 70's). I have also lived on both the US coasts as well as the mid-west. Hopefully if you ever come back to the US, you can travel on the southern Amtrack rails. Thank you for the very entertaining videos!!

Now this was a enjoyable traintrip. Very beautiful scenery. Utah us sooo beautiful, and in California, the Redwood forests, stunning. I was in Cali last May and June. Also in San Francisco, also rode the cable car. That was pretty exciting tbh. 😊

America’s train system is honestly quite a shame and not up to standard with most of the passenger railway lines in Europe and Asia… But one thing is for certain, it’s hard to beat America for those views. Lovely tour, Kuga-San.

The utilitarian service and aesthetic of Amtrak aside, this route is one I would like to do someday.
