Still probably one of the best YT outdoor channels. No blabbering dialogue, no commercialized music, no nauseating product ads, no showing off, no ego ... just humble expertise from an outdoor gentleman.

Something different from Swedwoods: the low views of the last couple videos is a travesty, especially for us who know that he is among the best bushcrafters on YT. Swed, your true fans always appreciate what you do: the quality, skill, and effort that goes into your solo excursions, and how much we can apply to our own outdoor adventures. That said, I'm happy you're doing something easier for yourself, and just bringing us along on a nice, chill campout with your brother. Swedwoods and Erik Normark inspired me to fly all of my gear from Melbourne Australia to Sweden a few weeks ago and hike 50km through Muddus National Park in the far north of the country. I only just got back to Australia a few days ago... Channels like this one inspire so many people to do more with their lives...

Thanks! I just have to do something different once in a while. I knew a video like this will get no views at all, you can't change things on KZread and still have views. Its really sad because its just a matter of time before you lose the inspiration. Doing the exact same thing over and over is very tiring.

There is so much to LIKE about this video. BUT to start with a personal observation: I would never do catch-and-release fishing where the predominate species was out of season or where I did not intend to eat the catch. ON To The LIKES: what a lovely place and what lovely weather you had on the first day. It seems that your Park Service does a fine job of building and maintaining campsites! SHOUT OUT TO THEM! Next, the Park Service provided a revolving pot support of a type I have never before seen: that was interesting to me.

Looks like fun, my brother is too old and battered to go out and do stuff like this. Really cool that yall have cabins and lean to's like that dotted around. Guess being a mostly white country really does mean you can conserve things and keep it nice.

Nice trip and good bonding experience :) And them pikes - gorgeous. I'm going to do some camping tomorrow. It's been a while because last time i had kinda traumatic experience - wolf encounter. He fled without trying to confront us (meaning me and my dog) but we were too deep in woodland and it was dusk and i didn't want to try my luck with evacuation while beeing stalked and, in worst case scenario, hunted down. One thing i learned that day about my survival skills is that i can reignite fire from zero to full in suprisingly short amount of time :P
