I love the fact I CAN CLICK LIKE on your videos as soon as I start watching. Why? Because I already know the video will be AMAZING AS ALWAYS. I just wanted to say Thank you to you and Erin for all the time and effort you guys put into each and EVERY VIDEO! I know she may not ALWAYS be in the videos but there have been MANY times I have seen her haul into campsites to help set them up in advance or even haul into a campsite just so you don't have to do it alone. She seems like an AWESOME partner!

I agree, AND I am a supporter of this channel. But I think also think it's incredible reckless and a poor example to up and comers, to go out in water this cold and at this time of year on Superior specifically. Superior is a killer. Check out the Bill Mason film, and that wasn't even May. He came close. A wetsuit isn't going to save you if the cards are stacked against you. Just saying.....

ML, Superior is a killer year-round though...middle of August. Too many people are reckless about it but I think we need more people showing themselves wearing a PFD, dry suit, staying close to shore, talking about needing a flexible schedule, bringing extra food in case, etc. I remember that Mason scene...could happen to anyone, even him

We have those pits (and still make them) around the edges of salt marshes and waterways down here in southwest NS. The stones are the foundation, then you build up a brush wall around it and sit inside it for duck hunting. Seems like they were probably used in a similar fashion.
