How do I learn from these videos?

Help a Non-Native English Language Teacher. I need help with how verbs agree with sentences that begin with percentages, portions and fractions. For example, do I say, three-quarters of the building has been painted or three-quarters of the building have been painted. Hi! Thank you for your question. You can come up with your own ideas, but I would suggest you 1) learn the words from the scenes as we explain them 2) try to make your own sentences with the words and then practice those words in speaking - try to find opportunities to use them 3) repeat after us when we explain connected speech, it will greatly help you with the pronunciation 4) try to watch the video and then tell yourself what the video was about, you can even practice writing about it first here in the comments (what you've learned from the lesson), and then read it to yourself, and finally talk about it on our RealLife English app with when connecting to other learners!
