I usually just try to run the bots on medium till I get at LEAST 20 before I jumped in ranked but I need to probably do some more things to help understand sprays of the weapons. My season goal is silver with a bonus reach of gold if I can. I will definitely look into TDM too for practice. Thanks for the tips!

my bad habit is bursting in close range (only with vandal because im so used to tapping and bursting with it)

Tip #4: Push with your team, don't take 1 step and stop when you get to the door. Tip #5: Stop staring at the enemy and shoot.

Ya didn't mention it in the vid, but picking 1 agent from each class is a great way to put together an agent pool

i think a good team comp would be: 1. Sage - Must be in all team comps. Her heal and res will be very annoying to the enemy team, and her wall is very powerful during pushes and defenses. 2. Brimstone - Brimstone is a good agent to clear an area. He has 3 smokes and can launch them all at once. His molly can also deny rotates and agrresive pushes. 3. Sova/Cypher - Both Sova and Cypher are info gatherers. Having info is king in this game. You can know if the enemy is flanking, rotating and change up the play according to that. 4. Breach - He is also an agent who clears areas. His flash is very powerful and can create alot of amazing plays, his ult is the best ult to take a site. (idk maybe killjoy or viper ult is better, brimstone ult too small) It can stun the whole site to take it. 5. Any duelist - Of course, we need a duelist, Jett is a very selfish character, so i wouldn't pick it. Raze is also good at area clearance, with her boom bot and grenades. Reyna is also good as her flashes and ability to heal herself. Her flashes dont flash your teammates so she can really help with pushes. Phoenix is just a combination of some agents, not that much better though. Viper's wall is better, Reyna/Breach's flash is better, and Brimstone's molly is better. His ult is good though.

Yeah i really like to lurk or entry but i also want to help my team. Heres my agent pool. 1. Phoenix (Good fragging kit and can help the team more than other duelists) 2. Breach (Very good crowd control and arguably the best flash in the game) 3. Raze (Haha go boom) 4. Killjoy (Pretty easy to use and one of the best ults in the game for taking/retaking a site) 5. Omen (I find him better than brimstone imo due to his flash being able to help me get frags with him while still helping my team with smokes)

Based on this theory I would recommend this agent pool for starters: 1. Sage (sentinels) No further question for this one. Healing and resurrection are unmatched in an FPS game like Valorant. 2. Sova (initiator) He is much easier to learn than Breach. He is good on both intel gathering and fragging (with his ult). 3. Omen (controller) I would recommend Omen more than Brim because Omen can get on his own foot when things don't go well in term of teamwork unlike Brim who heavily depends on his teammate 4. Phoenix (duelist) I choose this because he still has skills that support the team even a little. I don't say that other agents are bad, but they all just focus on getting kill for themselves, but Phoenix with his flash and wall ain't like that, so even if you suck at fragging, you still have some use for the team

r3xSean Breach is ass. Even in Faze invitational Jett was picked more than sage. To be clear in the Faze Invitational it went: Cypher, Omen, Sova, Jett, Sage, Phoenix, Brim, Raze, Breach, Reyna and finally viper.

@@SenkoTTV he is prob solo q, since he ranking up his alt, u cant trust anyone with solo q, ive *been* in silver, and u dont trust anyone, thats why u hold a safe angle, he was prob playin risky trying to get a cool play, but didnt account for his dumb teammates. also, even in silver, people still actually split up into different sections, if one person dies from one section, fall back and play safe so u dont get shot in the back of the head, can u stop being toxic "wTf tHiS iS iGnOrAnT" i was just trying to say he should be able to do that if he is on an 'alt' in silver...

QOTD: 5 would be good although more ranks would also work. I've gone from bronze 1 to silver 3 and working to get to gold and it seems like I need to get mechanically better and more consistent.

That won't stop people from getting boosted which is a main issue I find. Accuracy is impossible when that's a thing.

I floated from Silver Elite Master to Gold Nova 3 when I used to play CS:GO and it felt so satisfying when I finally was able to reach Gold Nova Master (yes, I was playing with friends when I got the Master rank, but I did get and maintain my Nova 3 rank with solo que skill as well)

i like the apex legends rank system way better. Each game you take a risk of losing points but you have to get more kills and survive longer to get a lot of points. and then when you get to a certain number of points, you rank up. It is a lot more easy to understand than the valorant rank system, i'd like to know how close i am to getting demoted or ranked up xD

im stuck at sliver 3 because i wasnt serious in my first few ranked matches so I played with my friends that are really bad at shooters, but then I got hooked onto valo and now because I have no friends at my skill level I have to solo. Soloing in silver is legit suicidal. Even gold players are trash at the game and they cant understand comms

QOTD: 5 Ranks might be better but the real issue is lack of player consistency in lower ELO, which is not fixable because inconsistency is a hallmark of low skill players. I've seen Bronze Players carry in matches with gold players very frequently, which shouldn't really happen but is no longer surprsing.

Better than me I played 3 comp games before I even understood the game very well and now I have to slowly climb out of iron

The problem is, when you for ONCE get a decent team. Next game you have unranked and silvers. And i’m in plat ffs. Happened today twice. How am I suppose to carry like a damn mule my whole team full of silvers/gold 1&2 players. Ranked needs some serious fixing.

3 rank system is better than 5 i think

Its not that hard to rank up. Just focus on improving and practice. I got from Bronze 2 to Gold 2 already and still improving

5 teirs would be better. It would make the game more balanced rank wise. Having 3 teirs only allows 3 skill groups (good, ok, bad) having 5 teirs widens the the skill gap and has better chance of putting you in a game with people of your skill level.

5 tier would be better for matchmaking

dude like half of my deaths are from trusting a teammate to hold their angle. bad advice. do not trust anyone to hold or check an angle in solo queue. at least not in lower ranks.

Me stuck in iron 1:

Why would I want to grind 5 ranks instead of three??? If the overall amount of Elo is the same split between 3 or 5, then demotions would be way easier too. A 5 rank system sounds volatile and Grundy as fuck. And the people thinking it’ll help signify their ranks better don’t realize a silver 1 and silver 3 are the exact same player... and will be the ones bitching about how easy it was to demote back to silver 4 after hitting silver 5 in one game
