KC 1) well i’m not the best at valorant so it really varies. Some games i get 12-12-4 and some games i get 8-17-6. It really depends. 2) I’ve been losing a lot recently due to afk teammates but besides those it usually ends at like 13 - 8 or 9

@@nathanpark5975 winning games, more decisively more mmr, like if its close game then it barely improves your mmr compared to 13 - 0 game, solo queeing vs premades also counted into calculation they claimed but all in all the major factor for mmr calculation is your overall win/lose. KDA barely counts so if you are like 30 / 5 but still losing the game 5 - 13 then you WILL drop quite hard at that

I haven’t seen anyone do a summary which I desperately need, so I’ll make it myself: iron: - get a grip of the fundamentals - learn from previous players - learn about guns & their tap, burst, spray - map callouts - focus on 2-3 agents & their ins and outs bronze: - learn the minimap so you don’t have to strictly rely on teammate communication - self evaluate: point out your mistakes, ask yourself how you could’ve done better, why you won/lost silver: - learn about common map spots - then, clear those spots one by one so you don’t get shot at all at once (personal tip, FULLY CLEAR SITE whenever possible, especially if you have 3 or less players left on your team) - learn when to buy & when to go eco (I personally always go eco the first 2 rounds) - learn when to save at the end of rounds (do it if your gun is better, don’t do it if their gun is better) gold: - learn about rotating & strategies about getting onto site / faking it - rotate if your teammates have spike or are dying, but don’t rotate if they successfully killed a few guys because the enemies will probably rotate - learn about movements like jiggle peaking platinum: - take a break when you’re tilted, it’ll cloud judgment and skills - master your abilities and the best way to use them diamond: - focus on teamwork synergy: team composition (balance duelists, smokes, sentinel/controllers) and ability coordination (make sure they compliment each other, not compete against each other) - expand your agent pool (especially another duelist or smoker) immortal: - be perfect Personal tip is to also work on your aim. My boyfriend recommended Aim Lab on Steam (I think it’s free) & it’s really helpful to train my slow ass reaction speed or terrible aim. Another tip is to learn when to crouch because sometimes I’ll do it too early and miss possible headshots because I crouched to aim at body. (I’m an iron 3, take these all with a grain of salt)!

Just got from plat 1 to diamond 2 just today. I think its all by using your brain. play smart, and dont use the same tactic over and over cuz you'll be predictable. as defender, hold an angel, once you see someone shoot once and back off.. and call it out and camp in a corner where you could get atleast 1 kill. Dont be a poopie by trying to peek them 1v2+. wait for ur team..

Yeah I can relate, it doesnt even matter how many team MVPs you get, the ranking system is really biased towards team wins and if you are stuck in low ranks you will never be able to play with anyone that you have synergy with. My first 5 comp games were all with 2 or 3 AFK after the first rounds, understandably all 5 were lost spectacularly and I was placed in iron 1 where at least one player leaves every match. Its a really sad thing that the game doesnt lock your rank when outnumbered.

Honestly I have never been more proud to be in bronze like he said Great Job!

I would encourage trying to apply some mindfulness. Whenever you tilt, try and actively notice it - say "ok, I'm tilted" out loud, for example. The more you start to instantly recognise it, the quicker you can adjust your mentality to avoid it growing into something more.

nair 123 but in a game like valorant you have to trust that they’re going to fulfill they’re purpose in they’re role. If a sage is on 80 health and they’re a 20 seconds left and your on 20 and she heals herself your obviously gonna get tilted, same rules apply for any other dumb mistakes because everyone has to play as a team. If he’s solo queueing to be quite honest if he’s blaming teammates i would say 60% of the time he’s gonna be in the right and I don’t even know what he’s tilting about.

I used to tilt like crazy. Now I don’t as much because I laugh it off. Try laughing it off and analyzing your mistakes.

Best tip I can give to people on climbing is to IGL in your pug games as much as you can. If you're able to frag while guiding your teammates, your odds of winning are way greater.

Just keep playing at those hours everyday and you will eventually get there. I played 2+ hours nearly every day for 2 years and got to the highest rank in rocket league. I know that might sound daunting that in order for you to hit the highest ranking playing your hours could take a full year, it probably won't. Valorant at the end of the day is a shooter game and the large majority of people playing valorant have played shooter games before. So unlike rocket league its not a new concept where you're learning everything from the ground up, including muscle memory. So honestly just keep playing those hours every day and you will probably be at or near the highest rank in 1 year or less. Just keep grinding. Another big time i got is try to only watch good players when you do decide to watch valorant stuff and like stated in the video take breaks when you tilt. For me i would 10-15min breaks to watch 1 or 2 youtube videos then hop back on. Sometimes repeating this multiple times a day.

Meaning there is something you are doing wrong or just not good enough to be better than plat players. It may be just the stuff that you are doing is rough around the edges. E.g bad or slow jiggle peaking or sluggish aim etc

At first I was a plat 2 then ranked down to Gold 3 after solo queueing. I then met a player who was plat 2 and we started playing together and looked for more teammates. After a few days, we both reached diamond. I think it's just the chemistry with the people you play with.

Very good vid and tips! Also remember to not be toxic as this leads to a loss of focus from other team members and dont micromanage teams!! Give meaningful callouts and not, "use X ability", "gogogo push"etc.. to people under pressure/clutch situstions. They will have their own strategy in mind and by overwelming them with actions they will collapse and die. If youre dead, focus on why youre dead and dont try to micromanage others.

I was Plat in beta, and I thought reclaiming that would be the easy part once the official game launched. I was wrong. Gold was where I experienced the most tilt because I was stuck there for three months. That helped me learn and master all the elements mentioned in this video, all the way up to Diamond. One thing, however, that bit about Bronze and being aware of what you're doing right and wrong - I didn't reflect like that until I got to high Gold. Good luck to everyone out there climbing the rank ladder though (y)

@Manchild People will tell you the best way to improve is to play the game more. This could go both ways, depending on what you practice. You could be building bad habits and getting worse, or vice versa. One way to truly get better is to get a coach, or someone who watches you play and tells you what you need to work on if you don't make those assessments yourself.

That's yours to learn actually, if people post things like that then everyone will do it. The thing is you have to be unpredictable, spice things up. You'll never be good if you're just copying or learning the basics from others. Be versatile in peeking, attacking, defending, and buying. I'll give you an concrete example, don't peek the same angle every round, or learn the angle where your operator is good at. That's why no one has the tips you're finding, because its you who have to learn how to position yourself. Its easy to watch someone do it rather than you doing it yourself so do it the hard way and learn.

Dodger X You can also lower your sensitivity or your mouse dpi, it really helps with aim. It might take a little bit to get used to it but it sure helps. I’ve personally had gotten more headshots with this. Hope it helps

Tip for mini map: try to look at where your teammates are on the map so if they die you can see how many enemies they saw or if a sage res you will know where sage is located and if someone died and cypher used ult you will know where their located

Its impossible for me to get out of bronze in the asian servers. Its either the enemy one deags you everytime or you have an actual bronze/iron player doing the usual run and gun headshot. Or you have a mix of both resulting in total chaos.

@@italovidigal1990 aim helps but there's absolutely no comms in low elo . Your teammate doesn't say or ping where he died or where the enemy is even tho he has seen them and you get pinched at the end.

Maybe have coms be a decent person and dont yell at your teammates. Im a brobze 2 and 95% of my games at oeast 2 people have coms and are cooperative

@@josephsong8911 thats what people need to learn. When you play you grt different teammates but the one constant is you. If youre consistently losing or getting win loss people cant learn that thats their actual skill rank.

i was hardstuck gold for a while (i am now diamond) and i can say these tips are pretty good. altough you should also mention one thing: gold players tend to make excuses or just get mad when they die rather than realizing what they did wrong when they died and trying to fix that. they just get mad at how they died and tilt. ive seen this a lot.

yesterday im playing on platinum 3, 1 match that got me deranked so bad, my teammates choose 4 duelist and what happened? we cant push site cant defend and their aim isnt that good, i cant do anything lol that is helpless that match got me tilted then i decided to continue playing without any break after that match i kept losing even tho im top frag and i ended up in gold 2, now im at gold 3 note: im solo player :( that's why and 1 thing i want to let y'all know is gold and platinum got so much differences its like hopping from easy to hard level, their aim is on point, their peek is so good, like every movement they got is on point so if you're about to hop into platinum mind these tips

You just need to get better. The game truly becomes hard at some point in diamond. There aren't many differences between plat and gold players. I've ranked up multiple smurf accounts to high diamond/immortal so ik how it feels like at gold/plat

@@con1765 bruh, I've been playing Valorant before they fixed the matchmaking system. Earlier I've played a lot of games with gold and silver players. If you didn't knew how terrible the matchmaking system was in Act 1, then don't comment like an idiot

Tbh I started in Bronze 3 because I didn’t really had much game sense and seeing this video described perfectly how it was to clump through each rank. I am currently Plat and I will continue trying my best to get into Diamond

I remember being qeued with gold players as a bronze, I really noticed the different playstyles between the golds and the bronzes, first the golds did callouts while on bronze you rarely hear that, second they really rotate a lot when you're at bronze and your team decides to take a site they don't usually rotate and just push through while at gold they try to waste the defender team's utilities in one site then quickly rotate because the other team would have less utility when retaking the site later on. It's really amazing to see how much of a difference there is on different ranks. Thanks for reading something nobody would care about, if you're at a low rank don't worry because with enough practice and determination you might get into a rank you deserve so never give up.

eh, sure more ppl use mic in gold and plat but u still get games with no comms or 1 person talking lol, but ye ppl rotate and stuff.

I’ve had my pc for less than a week and placed iron 3 I’m about to go down to 2 and I’ve been binging videos like these to get better

I was playing at 100ms ping ever since I started playing Valorant. Sometimes couldn't believe how I lost some 1v1s, until yesterday when I got 53ms ping then I understood I wasn't actually as bad as I thought I was, and went from silver 1 to gold 1 in just one day

Zaine Gallo they still make it fair on both sides but it makes it harder for people who have higher ranked teammates and enemies because even though it doesnt decrease the chance to win, it makes it significantly harder to be mvp as much as not playing a duelist does. The mmr system is messed up, always based on k/d/a unfortunately.

I just started playing 2 days ago but i already know some of my mistakes and have improved drastically and got my first ace if your aim isn't the best you can possibly hit plat with great game sense and knowledge overall to set up kills and strats like fabien did in r6 on g2

I loved you ideas like how u r not overwhelming a lower elo player.

do shooting range every day before playing ranked until you can get a perfect 30 on medium. Do spike plant and defuse drills until you can do them 3x in a row without dying. Also comms.

No the ranked system is busted I won 4 games in a row as a iron 3 and I went positive in all of the games and I didn’t rank up then I lost one but was the MVP then I won three more in a row and still didn’t get into bronze

personally, i think that when u find teammates with a mic and good coms, party up with them bc u are gonna feel way more comfortable and confident when playing and better game knowledge. You will have more fun and personally, i played deathmatch until i won one just by practicing, and i felt confident. We won our first game of the day, and I partied up with them, and i started to click heads which i nvr did b4 no matter how much deathmatches I did when i would solo que

The tips for the lower ranks is complete garbo. Basically it comes down to: "If you're not plat, your ranking is going to vary wildly because your mechanics are inconsistent. Once you've got decent mechanics, you'll get to Gold. Learn the fundamentals of the game, and boom. Diamond.

F1nn if you top frag every game you don’t lose too much elo or none at all. Sometimes you win and get some elo. Eventually you’ll climb if you always do good

That’s what I’m doing. I got match MVP 8 games in a row and we won. Every time, ranked to iron 2 finally and then they gave me the DUMBEST teams 5 games after and even though I was match MVP again all games that we lost I deranked and literally cannot rank up. (:

If u have mastered using info then improve ur crosshair placement, ez kills and rank up. When u know there is an enemy there, place ur crosshair at head hight where u think the enemy might peak and then just start moving or waiting.

I think some more in-depth advice on learning agents would be: To start only focus on 2 agents, but they should also ideally be different types so you can adapt to your team a little instead of having to pick raze after 3 duelist instalocks. Once your super confident in those two, I'd say learn two more from the two types you havent yet learned. So, if you've perfected sova (an initiator) and raze (a duelist), think about learning a controller and a sentinel. This doesnt matter so much if your at lower ranks, but I'd say gold and above it's great to be able to adapt to team comps. At the end of the day though if you dont want to learn a sentinel or cant be bothered with smokes ect that's fine too! It's a game and you should play who you want, whether it's because they look cool to you or you like their abilities best. The most important thing is your playing an agent you feel comfortable with. If your team needs a sentinel but you aren't comfortable playing any, stick to what you know.

IRON/BRONZE/SILVER good aim and you will climb no matter the team comb even if u dont have a sage GOLD /PLAT = get a good team comb DAIM/ IMORT Stack 5 or 3 RADIANT. AWP AWP OPE AWP AND AWP
