When you kept saying "I gotta speed up I'm going to slow" or "I have more to say but I'm gonna wrap it up" I just thought NOOOO you're going the perfect pace. FINALLY I understand it! I wish you could have kept going, you're a better lecturer than my own professor.
Mark, these are excellent presentations, and I appreciate your skill in proceeding through complex material with tidy organization and deft sequencing of topics and subtopics. It's enjoyable to think along with you in these talks, trying to see how many objects can be kept in mind, juggler-fashion, as we do philosophy and confront realms of challenge and opportunity.
Holy God, what a beautiful presentation? Thank you so much to bring out well the concepts of ethics and politics
Enjoyed watching this and the one on ethics. Recently becoming more interested in the connection between Aristotle and our founding fathers. When reading George Washington's inaugural address I noticed he said that that there exists in the economy and course of nature an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness. Thanks again.
Aristotle is clear about what kind of constitutional rule he proposes; He proposes a moderate form of government called "politeia" ( :constitutional state ) which is organized on democratic principles. At the turbulent time he lived, Athens had lost its political power ( due to "external circumstances" ) and the word democracy had lost its classical Periclian glamour! Thanks, it was an excellent presentation!
Wow, this channel is superb!
Thanks for the explanation. What is the program you are using to make this podcast? I'd like to know because I'm looking for something like this.

Hi Ian. I make these videos using the following two programs: Prezi and Screen-cast-o-matic. I build the presentation in Prezi and then record then with the other. This is a bit of a let reply, but hopefully it helps. Thanks for watching.
Why are you continually coughing into the mic in these?
