Not a Georgia fan but I think if and most like when they see each other in the final it will be an even better game. TBH, the bama team this year really hadn't done as much to earn respect this year as they have in some other years. Sure, the talent was there, bit they couldn't put it to use consistently as a team. This is probably the first complete game they've played all year. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they won and all, but I'm just surprised because they'd not shown me anything approaching this level of performance all year.

I also read another response from you regarding how Georgia should have defended Young. What you proposed about sending everything and everyone at Young sounded like it would work. But my question is; what is the downside to that? I really don't know X's and O's, intricacies, or nuances. I'm just a Bulldog(s) Fan, Georgia and Yale and casual at that. But I went to the Yale/Harvard game to see Harvard beat us on a last second touchdown. Of course I was pulling for my Elis but it didn't bother me very much that we lost. But the Georgia/Bama game was different! I watched the game on TV and I don't usually get very upset but I was close to rage watching what they did to what I had read was one of the greatest defenses of all time! As a Georgia fan I have to say this Bama team should not be underrated under any circumstances I think both teams are playoff worthy just this game proved how good the Tide is.

I knew if Alabama played poorly and still beat descent teams ... that if they ever played a complete game.. focused from start to finish, they'd be dominant... they always played from slow starts and trying to win at the end... finally Georgia faced a focused, angry Bama team who had been really written off..but I'm glad I knew they hadn't played their best game all season, and tonight served noticed on the football committee, fanbase, and doubters that despite their issues they're still a elite team to be reckoned with .. I'm an LSU fan and, after watching the Bama LSU game, or whatever that clusterfuck was, I was not impressed by Bama this year. They looked totally different today. They looked very good and I'm curious to see who they get to play in the playoffs. I'd love to see them play Michigan. I haven't seen Michigan this good since... basically since I've been old enough to follow any teams. Seriously though, what the hell happened vs. LSU? LSU is terrible this year and they basically should have beaten Bama if it weren't for two inexplicably overthrown wide open touchdown passes. I think Bama just hasn't been consistent this season. If they play like they played vs. GA today, though. They will probably win another championship imo. Good luck to them.

Pretty sure that was the number one criticism Saban has was the lack of focus. It’s clear as day the Texas A&M game was a fluke. The real scary thing is this team is still young and have some even better freshman players on the bench. They’re going to be scary the next two years especially with Ty Simpson coming in and studying under Bryce next year.

@Jack Stivers I agree that those truly are the two most difficult conference divisions in CFB with the SEC West being the top. The ACC Atlantic and SEC West other than 1 or 2 weaker teams and of course some down years for different teams, those two divisions can be brutal year after year when people actually watch the teams play and not put a high ranking next to them just because of who they are.

out of all the games I've watched of Alabama since i was young and all the championships ive seen, ive never been more proud of my football team than after this game man. RTR

Luckily Bama showed up. I only saw one of their games this season, the one vs. LSU. They looked like hot garbage that game and should have lost to the worst LSU team in 10 years if Max Johnson hadn't overthrown two 20 yard TD passes on wide open receivers. Bama in that game vs. Bama in this game is like night and day. Maybe they were all hungover and forgot to try that game or something. But they are looking very very good right now.

Anytime saban is an underdog he always gets the best outta his teams . All week we heard nothing but “UGA Pass rush “ and “Jordan Davis “ . Nobody gave a thought about jameson williams , metchie , nor Bryce young . Just goes to show fans are sheep and go along with what the media says .

Georgia might’ve got stomped but Brock Bowers was the best player on the field, that touchdown play at the end of the game showcased his dominance as a freshman

I am from Missouri so really was just looking forward tonight seeing a college footbal game between two excellent teams. Alabama was clearly the better team tonight, but Georgia likely gets a second chance at Alabama in a few weeks. There are times when I think an Alabama football team would beat several of the NFL teams. They are just that good and well coached. For me, it is just a great day of watching college football that started with the ending of the Baylor win at the end of the game versus Oklahoma State. Alabama and Georgia have the shot at replaying this game soon.

Dont matter!!! They let the Dawgs loose and Young still shredded them... Georgia secondary is suspect... Keep Godzilla on the field with tempo and he done. We had no run game and lost a receiver and still punished them. Nobody wants to see Georgia Alabama again. Number 1 on that list is Georgia!!

I agree that it was a great showing by both teams. But Alabama wouldn't beat any pro teams. Maybe 5 of Alabama's players will make it in pros, fewer will last. The majority won't get a chance because pro is another level. It would be interesting to watch it, but it would be too dangerous, especially to the college team and no pro team would take a chance of an injury ruining an earning potential of the players for, what would boil down to, an exhibition match.

Both defenses played outstanding, made both QB’s look weak. Georgia’s team wanted it more after the #19 TE for UGA extended the lead Bama Without Williams and Menchie Allende UGA’s secondary to have an advantage. I was truly entertained that the game was great.

The whole team is made up of some of the best recruits in the nation every year. Everyone good wants to go to BAMA because it's basically a NFL mill. Nick Saban is a good coach, but the program and synergy around it makes him look like a coaching god. Don't think he would have nearly the same amount of success coaching a program like Pitt. Look at his Dolphins head coach record for instance.
