When it comes to sports, there are only a handful of relevant questions and the most intriguing questions are the least likely to be answered and most likely to end up getting you banned from postgame interviews or fired. What went wrong? What went right? How are you going to move forward/maintain momentum/address the problems? What did you think of this play/penalty that got a lot of attention? Postgame interviews aren't investigative journalism.

Not likely, they will have to justify it, and it would continue to undermine trust in the nhl and the refs. He will have a hearing and there will have to be a detailed report for the ref to validate his actions under rule 41 which he can't, because it's not how the rule is supposed to be enforced, especially considering this was a very special ceremonial night for Tortorella celebrating all he has done for the NHL.

Absolutely uncalled for on the referee's part. In no way shape or form, was a game misconduct an appropriate or warranted call on Torts. Coach torts did nothing wrong. He opened his mouth. Apparently that warrants game misconducts and fines today. I really hope torts protested this and appeals the calls. This league is a joke. Go flyers and go Tortorella. Throwing him out on a night they were there to honor the 04 team is a disgrace considering the guy did NOTHING WRONG.

Should've hired Tocchet instead of Torts.

As a long time Flyers fan, can I get a refund on my tickets? Been to lots of Flyers / Lightning games here in Tampa and that by far was the biggest waste of my money.

In order to keep Colorado under the cap so that they can send us a 1st for walker then the condition was to get a salary relief with johansen. Unless you plan on signing walker for at least 4x5.5 which is what he wants then get the best assets you can and eat the rest. Why would you ditch the plan to rebuild because of one good year? This team isn’t good enough to win a Stanley cup, it’s the playoff experience that matters for younger players and that’s it.

The rest are just props like the Flyers. Boston is 2 goaltenders thats all. Who cares if they lose Walker in the off season. The only thing that should matter is winning the cup right now. Ersson could be a flash in the pan, and if so the flyers are rebuilding from scratch all over again anyways. IF the room is special why tinker with it at all?
