3/7 Syntropic Principles - Production Principles (Biodiversity, dynamism, process-based)

In this video I explore the key productive principles in Syntropic Agroforestry. These principles allow us to feed ourselves and others but they must be balanced with/by the regenerative principles in order to become resilient, regular and perpetual (long-term)....

Thank you for the videos, I’m just now looking into this kind of approach because of the management aspect. I have 2 acres of “food forest” and sometimes the maintenance can be overwhelming. This style seems like it will help 😊

Management is also a massive challenge in Syntropic systems! I find that there its a fine balance between the quality and enjoyment of our interaction and the quantity of work to be done... 2 acres is a significant amount, I am managing 2.5 acres and it demands a lot of my time, I am in the process of simplifying my systems slightly to be more efficient and enjoyable, without loosing vigour...

Hi Victor. I really enjoyed this video and it got me thinking about "hungry systems". Do you have any experience with this? I mean lack of biomass generation or even lack of shading plants. The answer to fix a hungry system might be as simple as just planting more organic matter-producing plants, but: Is there a more methodical way of approaching this? The system I manage is about to enter a speed-up phase due to rains incoming, so I want to know how to make of this time the most productive for the system.
