I'm so happy you like the doona. I watched your baby essentials videos with River where you said you didn't use it and it made me hesitate but I decided to order it anyway. Due March 8th!

Something I do with the ball is I stuff colorful scarves/fabric inside them and let my daughter pull them out. She loves doing it!!

Oh I’ve heard the ball thingy is really good for motor skills if you put pieces of fabric in it so babies can practice that pincer motion in order to get them out! Also good for peekaboo 😅

Top for the nubi rapid cool, I don't put my milk inside it, ours is on 7oz so I leave 2 oz hot in the bottle, pour 5 oz into the flask and cool it separately. Then put it with the hot, comes out perfect temp you don't need two on the go or have to sterilise after each use.

Thank you so much for the recommendations, Fleur. My little one is almost a month so it’s great to see what I need in advance! Would love to hear your thoughts on feeding/sleeping schedules & how you’ve handled it with R & E - I’m struggling right now and would love to hear from someone who has got through the newborn phase twice! Xxx

There aren't really any schedule for a newborn. Up until they have their first sleep regression at 3/4 months is when more of a schedule emerges.

omg, my daughter drank formula and did noooot care about the temperature, i never heated it up. my son has been exclusively breastfed until recently (because i’m going back to work) and he wouldn’t take formula and i was so stressed out and then i realized his milk is usually on tap and warm lol so i warmed it up and he loved the formula haha it can’t be slightly warm it has to be almost too warm for him to drink, he’s almost 10 months now i wish so he won’t be on formula for too much longer but goodness i wish i had half this stuff to warm the formula up!! lol

It comes with wheel protectors but we never used them. The wheels tuck up inside and then sort of hang off the back of the seat. They don’t touch anything at all in the car. So no dirt transfer.

I find as Moms we tend to do things and find easier ways to parent with each child. My 1st child I spent so much time on bottle making and warming. Especially on the go. By the time I had my 4th? I'd put a prepped water bottle on the dash of the car. The sun would warm it quickly, then add powdered formula I measured in a baggie. Within minutes I'd have a fresh warm bottle set to go. Motherhood suits you beautifully Fleur!

I'm sure it could be a risk. Just gotta make sure you use the really thin and sticky tape and monitor if it ever starts to peel away and replace it right away! I think this was also assuming this was for little kids who don't put everything in their mouths anymore
