You should consider getting your bird a playmate. They are social animals and can get depressed easily. Bird are flock animals and they groom each other, relieving stress that can lead to feather plucking. I have two rescued parakeets in one flight cage. They are flourishing. Single birds in a cage become very lonely.

What are some good fruit I could feed my bird

apples without the seeds, kiwi, melon, grapes, and oranges. to much fruit can be harmful, so only feed fruit a few times a week.

how do I get budgies on my tv? I have it on my computer but I don't know how on TV. Am I suppose to go to rogers to get it? I have subscribed, but it wont work Am I missing something?

When you have an older bird who has a mate that dies, it helps to place a mirror on a perch so they can see themselves. They cannot differentiate between themselves and another bird, so it helps them in their loneliness.

I have two badri and two lovebird.

I have 4. Two white, one blue and one green. Cannot get them to eat anything but seeds. Any suggestions

Just keep introducing stuff. They love to shred things so leaves like this ought to at least attract that kind of attention.

Try small brocolli tops they are warming up to them.. the tops are like small green seeds

Have a dehydrater? Dehydrate some veggies and put them in his/her seed

I had the same issue, but I cut the tops off of broccoli and shredded a baby carrot. I put those on top of his seeds and he eats it all. Other than that, he likes golden and granny smith apples, but only if I'm holding it between my teeth.

This has been so nice for my new, baby pure white parakeet! She is watching and listening and learning to use her voice! It is so fun to watch her and how happy and playful she is when your videos as re on. You'd never believe how much she loves watching your videos ! It is super cute ! Thank you so much for making such a great little group of videos. 🙏❤

I wonder if anyone out there could give me any advice ,I have two parakeets,both male,They are almost a year old,they look very healthy,they have the best seeds iodine included,I clean their cage Evey day, the have plenty of fruit and veg,but I have noticed one hair some feathers starting to thin on top of his head,,they do not fight,they are indoor, so I wonder if it anyone as any advise,ps I don't think it's stress,they come out every day,and I play ,this for them every day.?????😳🇬🇧

Try a different video...I give my bird a variety of these vids , thinking there's different messages in them...strange idea but just maybe ....you sound like you really are doing wonderful with them..btw lucky little birdies.

It is natural for them to lose it's feathers (that band of feathers on the top of their heads) eventually it will turn all white. You were smart to get two. One alone could get depressed.

@@robertnoto8438 you are correct, this happened a month 😳 ago,and this is what happened, I was worried it was mites,I always believe in two animal's not one,I have, four dogs ,they like their own kind♡

Is that romaine lettuce or some kind of cabbage leaf?

Same question. I thought maybe leeks, but the leaves are different. I'd like to see if my Biggie likes whatever that is. He's pretty finicky.
