3/29 & 30/24 Pre: UP 7400 Breast Cancer returns to SoCal near Los Angeles, CA by JRV
In March 2024, the Breast Cancer engine UP 7400 found itself in Los Angles again on the trains UP IG2LC and UP ILCG2(before UP changed them to Zs).
On 3/29/24(0:09), we just missed the UP IG2LC flying through El Monte, CA with UP 7400 leading UP 3041 SD70AH-T4 up front. This time, we followed it towards LATC finding it buried behind the Aurant wall(thanks to some thieves). Luckily after an hour and a half of waiting, the train proceeded towards LATC spotting it at Boca Ave, San Pablo, and on the side roads just east of LATC.
On 3/30/24(6:29), UP ILCG2 passed through El Monte, CA with UP 7400 3rd engine trailing. Two C44ACMs made out of C44-9Ws were up front in the small flag livery.
