Manastorm Venom Gyre Deadeye

Manastorm Wild Strike of Extremes Champ
pobb.in/p66VobVGgeJy
There are a few different versions in the above PoB. I'm sure there is a good non crit version using "voice of the storm" and precise technique out there but I didn't work on that since it is so easy to get good crit multi jewels for a tri ele skill. That would probably make more sense using a more normal attack like lightning strike
I eventually planned on playing this as a bazoinker but it is hard to fit everything.
Also, the attack speed gets so fast that idk if you can actually play wildstrike of extremes anymore
since you won't be able to leech the es back fast enough and you might need to play another attack skill or strike.
Gloves would likely be swapped out for celestial brace but you could just use fortify in your links since I think the travel down to a fortify wheel is probably too much.
Can also find the actual characters I was playing here

Hi, I saw this build being played with spectral throw. Im assuming this type of build is like a framework of sorts? Input skill here type of build? You said something about terrain and I immediatelly thought of my forgotten main skill, charged dash. It projects an illusion of yourself forward so you can position yourself, dodge and climb ledges and stuff. Its fun to play and this might be the only way to do it, assuming it works. It happens to be a lightning skill (the spectral throw user I've seen on ninja had half mana stack half Int stack gear, so he was getting lightning damage per int).

Exactly. The skill in particular doesn't matter since it is really just a mana stacking attack build that is skill agnostic. I tried a lot of different attacks on this kind of shell. Like right before this I played a champ version that was using paradoxica and I tried most attacks thatworked with a sword. Spectral throw would definitely work (also love that skill) and I assume charged dash would too but haven't messed around with that skill much. I think int stacking alongside mana would be the play with a higher budget and you could get that mod synthesized on a claw/dagger or through shaper/hunter influence ( I would have done this with a larger budget). I tried to make versions using hand of wisdom and action but couldn't get as much dps vs a gravecrafted rare.

@@poopbutts The account I was looking at is called manabanana on ninja. He's using a claw with damage per int and ele pen. His tree is also a bit weird, he doesnt pick ele pen by the ranger side, but he has attacks penetrate on his weapon. I wanted to replicate it in future leagues as well (im aware the helmet gravecraft gives him a flat 1k mana which is crazy). However the weapon choice is strange and the way he scales damage. To me his weapon looks replace-able with paradoxica if I dont int stack (because you can get that high amount of pen on paradoxica, plus double damage too), but im not sure. In the past I did a sort of mana trickster framework but I only stacked mana and then picked 6 cluster notables that give %mana gained as es. I never tested it in game tho. I didnt even input gear cuz I didnt know how to scale the damage, it was just the tree idea. I would love to make that but updated, its such a cool concept. And quite frankly, it does a ton of damage, if you click on manastorm buff in his pob, the damage skyrokkets. I put charged dash instead of his spectral throw without any further changes and I doubled his dps, which made me excited.

@@GE_Photon_Lord thats awesome! I'll have to try charged dash one of these days. That tree is super weird but I can understand it, big mana attacks is a pretty under explored archetype

@@poopbutts I think the manastorm buff made this archetype viable. When I first saw the changes I just thought it would still be bad, but I was wrong. Even without the grave mod on the helmet I think its still very playable now, it rewards you for stacking mana.

Actually thinking of playing this next league pending no nerfs or cool changes to other builds, would you recommend it? I play sc but the inherent tankyness of your builds attracts me and this looks so cool and fun

@@Lonzo1112 this was probably one of the most fun builds I've played in a long time. I just love the idea of big mana attacks since you can leech it back and I'm a giant venom gyre fan. I will be honest this build is slightly underpowered for the cost and in general, but it is kind of hard to say. Manastorm was 5 divines in hc and it was like 10c in SC so maybe it is reasonable there. Could maybe get a cheap claw because people probably would consider the flat mana prefix a brick where it is exactly what we want Regardless, not something you could start but you could roll it once you have the required uniques and a hits can't be evaded claw

@@skyforth24 Assuming you aren't trolling...my reply was to show you why I was running blue maps. You don't run alched maps in HC outside of league start for map completion, kirac missions or later on when you have a very geared character. I could show you an alched map but that would be even more misleading since that is not how I'm running my maps. It is a different game mode with different constraints. If you were to play this in SC you would be running harder maps but you would also have significantly stronger gear. Like I paid 5 divines for one of the two existing manastorms in HC trade, they are what 10-15c in SC? You would laugh but I payed almost 2 divines for that belt, you could get that in SC for what 20c?
