PPB was originally Pacoima Pierce Apartment Boys and developed into what we know today as E/S & W/S Pakoima Piru Bloods because of family ties and The county jail. I know there's the typical question of how we're Bloods & Pirus, but you would have to understand at the time it didn't matter because we were all Damu's. The alliance y'all are referring to was what we(2Ps) labeled as 3P's (PAKOIMA, PDL, & Pomona456). There's 3 sides to PPB the E/S, W/S, and Lake View Terrace aka the terrace or terradome(terror dome) which technically falls under the E/S so. The heart and main area is the Pierce Apartments (E/S 12700) aka The Namz or Vietnamz, and pretty much the surrounding area.

I would go out to Pasadena in the 90s visiting cousins it was just like Compton where I stayed. They neighborhood by Jackie Robinson Park over there was crazy I couldn’t wear a lick of blue outside. So yea like any city it’s good and bad parts. Respect to og in the interview.

I grew up in Pasadena born and raised. Was more involved in the 80s and was more tight with blue but played football at phs with some pdls. Bussing was in affect back then. Even though colors differed we was cool because we contributed to the team. Hitman Harvey just passed this year.

Nope not the same at all. Just right next to each other. But Altadena is policed by La County Sheriff's. Pasadena is policed by Pasadena Police Department. 2 different cities and 2 opposing gangs. But right next to each other. Altadena is north of Pasadena.

Question for you Peddler, when my neighborhood (del amo) was split in two sides did yall make a distinction between the two sides or did yall see it as the same enemy no matter what? Also break down which high schools the Patch has to go to. Banning and Carson high school carved up our city. David, Mark, and Joe Zarceno, Marcus Bolton were the homies on Eucalyptus. Where did you live on Kirkwood? Not sure if we met. My parents moved in 87 because the gangs and crack was out of control.

I also heard, when Dr. Martin Luther King came to Chicago, Jeff Fort made it known that if one hand was laid on Dr. King, it was on. Had about 10,000 Stones on stay ready mode. Larry Hoover saw the power in this and wanted to pattern his organization as such with structure and power. Again, this is only what I heard.
