idnt the whole game (after tutorial A10) balanced around you having 75% res so that means youre recieveing 200% damage youre meant to take?

I was waiting this video, thank you. For leveling +90 I've found 3 solutions that fits (there's a way to free 2/3 passive from original build), but there's more: this build is fast and poe can suffer in certain situations. It's obvious that connection and render settings are important, but in this build are mandatory. I'm trying directx12 and it's better, cyberpunk at max at 60fps and then poe can suffer. Sometimes there's simply too much on the screen, the lag doesn't give you positive effects like leech, because the game hit you but you don't hit the game

Hey! amazing video and i will definitely be recommending this vid for all the newbie TS players i saw this league. I just want to point out - at 11:16, you mention that Lightning Coil will convert all hits and dots will be converted to lightning damage - which is untrue. LC only converts hits, not dot. The only body armor that can do that is the Cloak of Flame, which specifically says "40% of physical damage is taken as fire damage".

Doppelganger guise works on chaos and phys dots too. While not strictly conversion its another source of rather rare phys dots mitigation.

@@keldon1137Yup just wanted to specify that Lightning coil does not convert phys dmg over time to lightning dmg such as labyrinth traps, etc

With 50% cold res you reduce half of cold dmg so cold ehp is 2000 time 3:20

Great video. I didn’t know about the damage shift. I’m currently playing lightning arrow and I’m getting one shot frequently with 4400+ life, 100 spell suppression and capped elemental and chaos resistances. I also have a high roll Defiance of Destiny amulet but it’s not doing much for big hits. I have strength of blood. Does it stack if I take both nodes on the tree? Once again great video.

Unsure why you aren’t using Omni in your build vs DoD. Omni synergies with TS is too impactful to not use both offensive and defensive. If you are getting one shot with capped sup and res, then it’s probably going to be an armor/evasion problem. My TS has 2.1k and I hardly, if I ever get killed. Hope this helps!

Omniscience? I can’t afford it. The cheapest I saw was 40 divs. The DoD was 11 and I spent a lot on a six link bow and six link Hyrii’s Ire. With Grace and a jade flask my evasion gets up to around 25k.

majority Standard player here. i been wanting/trying to put together a TS build FOR YEARS but almost at every turn, either faced multi mirror build guides or various nerfs at every other corner when i tried to build it... and evasion builds have a tendency to get one shot deaths while mapping (which is supposed to be something they are supposed to excel in). ggg threw evasion builds a bone by putting spell suppression on the right side of the passive tree. big opp right but no! because they make monsters deal a ridiculous amount of physical damage and a ridiculous amount of map mods that convert that damage ALONG with a ridiculous amount of DOT effects that will once again one shot you. what i found out this patch after getting out of my comfort zone of not playing evasion builds this patch was trying out pathfinder impending doom. lightning coil + purity of elements + lethe shade is like the baseline ehp set up of the build. followed by bloodnotch + immutable force and progensis rounds up the defences of the build. i am now in the process of trying to fill in the gaps of an omni ts build without breaking the bank (under 50 div). its difficult but i find it a process worth trying at least for me because there are many ppl who want to play a TS build that doesn't randomly fall over every map and just groan when they see a streamer build that costs 250 divs being used as a ''budget build''.

I jump into TS this league, oh my its really challenging in terms of survivability.

No need to rush, we-or only I-probably can’t even get a single mirror of kalandra 😭 take your time, I don’t want you to get tired of POE.

10:55 that's cool and all but Lightning Coil **DOES NOT** shift DoT, only hits. You're confusing this with Cloak of Flames and Dawnbreaker, which are the only items that shift both hits and DoT

calc is wrong for COLD DAMAGE @ 3:00 If you have 1000 HP and +50% COLD RES, then your COLD EHP will be DOUBLE, ie 2000, not 1500 But if you have -50% then 666 EHP, since you will get 1.5 times more damage, which you calculated correct...

lightning coil does not help v DoT damage. it says from HITS
