I agree on that. But im aginst overusing Aluminum on RC's I bash really hard and break my RC's almost every time and bent alloy is waay too expensive to replace besides alloy means weight. Also if im correct there is a supercharger to be honest i have not tested any of these but i have heard only bad things about them. If i had that money to spent i would probably go for full RPM, steel gearing telemetry(for temperature) some other engine than 3.3 traxxas i just dont like them, rollcage you have is great i love the idea and will probably do the same to my t-maxx and ofc savox servos and just for shits and giggles same mod thats on my t-maxx custom made remote start :D. If you want it too i can explain how to make one modyfying ez-start for like 15$(you will be still able to use ez-start as backup).

Very nice very expensive Jato. Mine is well done also. You have two stock parts as I can tell. The front radio/battery/fuel tank holder. Thats a couple pieces.

all that aluminum is going to make that car really heavy. maybe you should have upgraded the engine before adding all those integy parts and the supercharger.

Abner Tinoco it’s been proven that supercharges/turbo’s don’t work on 2 stroke engines so that supercharger does absolutely nothing except look cool

I saw this a couple years ago, I came back to it. The problem is not building a $3k rc, it is how you present it. (Brag about it) maybe start with segments of videos demonstrating what you done to the jato. Also, one of your RCs is not a Truggy, it is a buggy.

Yes the double brake system with aluminum disks work very well

I have the aluminum 2 piece fuel tank with extra capacity .im looking for transmission gearbox aluminum.jato not as popular as it was 10 years ago.i have most of the other aluminum mods you have on here .not knocking it I love it !

I dont have the money to build like that but if i did i would. I take pride in my toys. So what if it weighs more. It must handle better...its not for the track any way. The only thing i dont care for much are lights. I noticed that it only has 1 disk. Jatos brakes are not the best...i added the second disk and it really stops! With a little car like that...i would use it a few times and retire as a shelf queen. Its awsome...its a different face of the hobby that many crtisize. The Jato is awsome. I rrally like the plastic modded jato. I would just add rpm arms. Thanks Awsome build!!!!!

I do like the chassis. I think I'd build a jato slightly different but that is the beauty of this hobby. I think I would start with that chassis if I couldn't find or machine a titanium version. I'd love to see her run and see what those upgrades can do. Did you replace everything but the traxxas 3.3?

Only piece that are stock are the top plate and the gas tank. You are much better off just buying the pieces if you are going to do a complete replacement build like this. Why spend $500 for the Jato and then all the parts when you are using nothing but the engine and the two pieces I mentioned? Buy those two pieces and the engine, save yourself $300+

It's probably just a matter of adjusting it A 2 screws that hold the brake pads to the brake disk need to be screwed and a little bit.

Its called an exhaust deflector. If you run traxxas the part number to search for is 5245

there's these turbocharger keychains online that actually spin, and you can put them onto the big jato and they actually increase the horsepower. fyi

Hi there mate, im from the uk and also have a traxxas jato 3.3 but just a few upgrades from being fully alloy On ebay i have listed a set of alloy wheels for the jato which are cnc machined by me Im no longer interested in the nitro and have kept the truck as a shelf queen Ive recently brought the xmaxx and so need to fund if interested take a look and hope you buy them

...yeah they don't work at all. Just a "Gimmick"... If you take one apart and look at the impeller , well, it's laughable, at best. edit: might make a good little water pump though.. ;D

I just bought a jato for my second nitro my first nitro is a old school redcat avalanche xp and to go with my jato I bought a 1/5 scale Baja they will be here tomorrow

None of those carbon fiber parts are actually carbon fiber. It’s just hydro dipped in a carbon fiber finish. I had them too and you hit a curb or scrape in on something that paint peels right off and it shows it’s plastic underneath. So you still do got a lot of plastic on there. Plus you forgot the top chassis plate is plastic so is the gas tank

I just bought the rb modds turbo.head with turbo button, and turbo plug. was not impressed at all with it , before they were installed my jato would pull hard and pop wheelies, after install , no wheelies and could not get it tuned out right , poor quality rb modds I just put it all back to stock ,runs much better , can you explain to me why that is

Brah. The first upgrade you should have done was upgrade the slow 6v receiver. High voltage servos capable of more than 6v. I run at least 7.4 on my rigs. Plus all that aluminum weighs that down. Waste of money.
