Everyone has 2x4 cutoffs laying around. Why not make something useful with them.

Smooth move on transferring the mark from side 1 to side 2. Thanks for that. I screwed the block from underneath to a piece of plywood. Cut it with a guide and a skill saw. Easy after getting those marks.

Jim, I just bought a 9" band saw and want to make a v block to use with it. How does one,make a v block when one has no table saw? Many thanks!
