Flake, the main reason that nearly all of the songs are in German, because he doesn't speak English he wanted the lyrics to be in German or something. Thought I've heard him say that in the Rammstein in Amerika-documentary.

About that concert by the way, I've read somewhere they need about 7 days to install all the stuff (the huge stage and the flamethrowing towers) It's said they need about 25 full trucks to transport the stage ^^ Amazing live, go and have a look !

The thing about the trucks, i dont know how many, but there was alot. i was lucky enough to get tickets for the show in copenhagen last year. And it is the best thing i have ever seen

Rammstein is unquestionably the greatest rock show on Planet Earth. At 56 years old, I thought I was done with going to concerts, but I found myself purchasing tickets to the August 2020 Philadelphia show via pre-sale.....but the concert has been delayed an entire year. I never bought tickets to ANYTHING eighteen months in advance!! Their 2021 American dates are indeed a limited affair, but I encourage you ladies to see Rammstein as soon as you can...!!

Saw them live in Oslo 2019, also got the ticket for this summer. It will be so worth it. The guys truly make a show.

Rammstein is the only metal-show I would recommend a non-metalhead to go and visit. It's more than just music, it's the full package! Like their performance of Puppe with the confetti. Generally I dislike confetti or streamers since I think it doesn't add anything but at that show having the pure black confetti coming from all over the stadium for over 30 seconds was amazing. Way better than those single-shot tubes.

This song was the first on their debut album ("Herzeleid"), that's partly why they're pretty heavy on that Rammstein chant. And the last song on the album is even called "Rammstein" XD They really like their name :-)

Actually it is well known that they hate their name. They started off as Rammstein Flugschau in the early 90s. „We never really wanted to be called Rammstein. It’s like a nickname you don’t like. But we couldn’t get rid of it anymore.“

Try out their song „Ohne dich“. It’s very different to their other stuff, very emotional.

Rammstein are touring next year, get tickets. + The entire Paris show is available on dvd + blu ray, definatey worth getting to watch all of it.

In germany you can watch the concerts in Paris and in MSG on Amazon prime.

Their concerts sell out FAST! When my husband got tickets to Madison Square Garden in 2010, we were in the balcony seats near the stage and we could feel the heat every time one of their pyrotechnics went off. Greatest concert. EVER!!! I saw them again in Los Angeles in 2011, and it was amazing!!!!!

I saw them at their 2nd ever US show in Tulsa, Oklahoma opening for KMFDM, before Du Hast hit radio, I just knew a couple of their songs from the Lost Highway soundtrack. So going in knowing nothing of their live show I had no expectations....now if you can imagine Rammstein sans flamethrowers but still plenty of effects in a small club with under 1,000 capacity... It was just slightly awesome, and still the best show I've ever seen, and they made me a fan for life. I don't think anyone even noticed KMFDM afterward.

Saw them at The Palace of Auburn Hills back In 2011, and is still the best concert I've ever seen. Was first row, and had to have lost 5 to 10 lbs because the flames are Soo hot, lol.

I rarely ever post a comment to these reactions, but for you two amazing grannies I have to! I have a recommendation that I have also seen in other comments from all the Rammstein videos and that is the song "Mein Teil" BUT YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT LIVE. And not only do you have to watch it live, it is heavily recommended to read a little backstory of the song before you watch it! The live show of that song is one of their best and craziest, and it is also shows how crazy the lyrics in these songs made by Rammstein actually are.

Every time I see you have uploaded a reaction to any Rammstein song, I rush to check out the video as I really like how you analize their songs and their stage pressence! There are so many good songs from them but I really REALLY hope you react to Mein Teil as it's a really cool song plus their live act when they play it is simply phenomenal

If you translate the entire song it's about a man/woman, seeing their partner cheating, taking them out, licking the blood from the dagger, and lightning the bed on fire. "Sex isn't eine schlacht, Libe is krieg" translates roughly to "sex is slaughter, love is war", sorry German speakers if I butchered any of that. I am still learning.

I was next to the stage - very close to the fire bellow the stage 🔥 ... Security was with my group/ was Hot - Ja Ja ... I was by fire & rescue and security- all was okay. I was so excited and happy! (To explain: my group had vip protected area - yet I had to look up .. stage was high up) Til singer of Rammstein puts on an incredibly creative artist concert. You do not want to leave to use the lady’s bathroom... you don’t want to miss anything The entire concert is powerful energy and just goes and goes and goes ... By far the best concert I’ve ever been to - because of the entire package and the z🔥 fire show rolled up into 1 concert... (Then Depeche Mode was my 2nd choice - plus the 2 Rock bands have a friendly relationship between themselves) Go to Rammstein- you’ll enjoy yourself: the experience ✌🏼

My first live show was the "Mutter" album. I was 16-17 in the front row and when the first flame went off and I felt the insane heat, it just blew my mind. I could not believe it was real! I went to every new live show they put out since then. No one (and I have seen a lot of bands live) puts on a better live show than Rammstein. At least not visually.

I think the band is named after an air base. On August 28, 1988, there was an accident at Rammstein air base during an air show when three Italian planes collided over the ground and fell. One of the planes crashed close to the crowd and continued burning into the crowd. In addition to three pilots, 67 people died, while about 1,000 people were injured in the accident.

if you wanted to know the pronunciation of the song, it's Volt Eer Das Bett In Flammen (you got those few right) Zay-en. So you were 2/3 correct. Also, while I've never seen Rammstein live, I have seen videos of their performances where they've had pyrotechnics at the back of the stadium too, so being far away from the stage doesn't necessarily put you far away from the pyrotechnics.

I saw them in Dallas that same summer of 2017. They were just awesome live, we were out on the grass and not by the seats and you could still feel the heat of the flames
