Hey there my dear first of all I want to say thank you for taking time to leave such a wonderful comment it means a lot to me because I really do love you guys with all my heart. And thank you so much June 23 I will be eight years off of the drink. Absolutely amazing and I love Desert Hot Springs are used to stay often at the Marriott Desert Springs I don’t know if that’s in Desert Hot Springs but I think it is the JW Marriott actually. As a kid I used to watch a TV show called saved by the bell and one of the episodes was actually filmed at that hotel and I’ve loved it ever since I saw the episode as a little kid LOL Also as a kid my mom bought a house in Lake arrowhead I’m from Newport Beach and she bought a vacation home in Lake arrowhead and that’s the first time I saw snow and I fell in love with it. So just like you as a kid I lived down the mountain but to get away from everything and enjoy some beautiful weather even though Southern California is always beautiful weather but to enjoy the most beautiful weather we would drive up to our nice house in Lake arrowhead. So for the future when you and your wife come up here now you know there’s a lot of really nice off Roding. Truly special as you saw here. I feel you dude I'm like the opposite I can't live in places like that down there it's OK for me to visit but it's just too much narcissism and too many people this place gets that way though in the winter time. Maybe some extremely rural places would be nice as well but yeah the mountains are for everybody if you're a lazy person the mountains are definitely not for you. It's a place where you got to be a busy body unfortunatley. However there are parts of San Diego that I could live and absolutely love but that's very very rare but I totally know how you feel we are kind of opposite but it's the same feeling it's really weird

That makes me so sad in a good way very nostalgic and I know exactly what you’re looking from I remember when there weren’t any houses up there that church wasn’t there but yeah you’re looking straight down across the bridge you’re on those cliffs right there if I am correct. I really miss living there the older I get the more amazed I am that my father was able to do that he’s a doctor and he had a humongous private practice but at the same time he bought my mom a Rolls-Royce and he had a Porsche and a Mercedes Benz and they had a Cadillac and so many other things it’s just so amazing I’m so proud of my father for how hard he worked and he put himself through medical school driving a taxi in Chicago he went to Northwestern medical school and went to UCLA before that but anyway I appreciate you letting me know how you’re doing and I am so nostalgic right now. Hi there that’s a great question so ever since the lake has been here on a permanent basis because of the dam, it’s constantly fluctuating about every 5 to 7 years it’s very low and then after that it’s above average there are actual graphs on the Internet where you can see. But the physical size of the lake is not shrinking the lake size may be shrinking a little bit in terms of the amount of water but that’s gonna come right back no big deal however it’s not doing too much shrinking out the time it’s just not growing in terms of water I wish it was. I feel so bad my friend I didn’t see this message please forgive me for responding so darn late. So I’ll pretend like I got this message last night and last night it was really cold it was really cold. But right now it’s about 55° it’ll probably get into the mid 40s tonight but it’s not too bad during the daytime today it was about 72° that’s almost perfect as far as I’m concerned I wish we had that year around where I grew up in Newport Beach, The marine layer basically the oceans clouds and fog was literally keep us at a pretty consistent temperature year around and then if you drive a couple miles inland it’ll be a lot hotter

I would buy some land and build a cabin so the bears don't get into our home you'll need electric fence so they don't invade your territory and you'll have to booby trap your property with things that go dang in the night so it'll scare them off or those lights where you know when you walk by the light goes on I like to have one we're very trying to get into your property have one that blows off a really loud sound and just scares a little living daylights out of them and turn the light on that'll freak them out LOL got to think like a bear if you're living in Big Bear Lake you got to think like a bear

I thought this was referring to my most recent video and on the most recent video there was a little road going up and I was wondering if we were allowed to drive on it so forgive me. When it comes to this road that you’re referring to I think it’s still closed and it’s gonna be closed maybe for a few more months because of a big fire we had last year there’s still a lot of debris in the road so I don’t think this particular road is even open right now

So a few months ago I was able to take this route to a certain point and then they had it completely blocked off so I haven’t been through the whole burned area yet. I’m really looking forward to seeing it but I’m a little bit nervous because I know it’s gonna be really sad. I hope you’re feeling a lot better bro I’m getting my rentals for the season in a couple days. I am so excited.

Frank forgive me for getting back to you so late my friend usually I respond a lot faster so I know one side of this road is open but the entrance near Bear Mountain is still closed I really wanted to take that drive so I could see the fire damage and show everybody what happened But I think part of it is open I know it’s getting to the time of year where they close it down for winter time though so I’m not 100% sure in the past week or two if they have shut it down for the season or not and I wish I had a better answer for you. Danny that’s a great question I funny enough asked somebody about that a few days ago and since I don’t have one I feel bad that I can’t remember exactly where he told me but we were watching videos on Elon musk and so that’s when it came off I asked him where they may have them around here. @@shilomifsud9836 Holcomb is up here. Actually higher elevation. That area was where people settled for the gold rush down here. It’s creepy man. Haunted I’m sure. Night time would scare me. I need to carry an extra pair of underwear if I go up there at night. It’s a huge area. A town like ours could be built up there but it only has a few cabins from the 1800’s left I believe. Like 3 or so

Christmas tree limbs to put underneath your tires and chicken wire keep plenty of wood with you in a little bit of hay and something to keep you warm cuz when you get stuck dude you get stuck make sure you are prepared keep yourself a military kit inside your trunk warm blankets warm food warm everything go to the Dollar store and get yourself those those packets of those warm up To keep your body warm 🥵🔥🥵

@@quickscoper39 you know what that’s a good point about those forestry roads connecting. I never thought about it lol. I haven’t gone out as much as I should with this car especially being lifted just be careful bro we definitely have some bad ass vehicles but just be very careful because some of the roads once you’re on one of the main ones and then you come up to the little offshoot type Road just be careful on those and make sure you let people know where you’re going just in case you get stuck. I know it sounds a bit ridiculous but I want you to have a good time up here I don’t want you to have a miserable time being stuck because they aren’t really maintained that well the ones that are the offshoot off roads. But I do think you’re right the main ones probably do connect somehow that would make sense so they can at least set up some sort of a perimeter or something when they need to and get back-and-forth I never even thought about it bro I know there is a math system up here of all those back roads one of my friends from this channel actually got me one of them about five years ago and since I didn’t have the proper vehicle to do that I never got to really use it and I still don’t go too crazy out there but I think you have a lot of fun coming back up here and charging some of the ones you’ve never been on before. @@quickscoper39 that’s a great question I think when I just did this drive I think it may have been like almost the last day of last month so that’s a good question I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s probably still open but if you’re going to drive up here just try and find out for sure. I would buy some land and build a cabin so the bears don't get into our home you'll need electric fence so they don't invade your territory and you'll have to booby trap your property with things that go dang in the night so it'll scare them off or those lights where you know when you walk by the light goes on I like to have one we're very trying to get into your property have one that blows off a really loud sound and just scares a little living daylights out of them and turn the light on that'll freak them out LOL got to think like a bear if you're living in Big Bear Lake you got to think like a bear
