Crew of Ukrainian 2K22 Tunguska anti-aircraft vehicle carries out a maintenance check evaluating the precision of the system as well as a live-fire training on a range, 2015.
The 2K22 Tunguska is a soviet tracked self-propelled anti-aircraft system armed with a surface-to-air gun and missiles. It is designed to provide day and night protection for infantry and tank regiments against low-flying aircraft, helicopters, and cruise missiles in all weather conditions.

Direct fire usually to get soldiers to flee their cover. You see anti air craft guns being used in Syria in urban areas when you really want to scare the shit out of anyone hiding in a building.
