I am so proud of them :) So proud when our countrymen make it big in the world. We had so many important people during our history ... these two will of course be remembered as one of the best musicians we have. I love my country, my people ,despite our problems.... They are playing two very known and beloved croatian songs - Vilo moja ("My fairy", originaly sung by Vinko Coce, you can check it on youtube) and Ne dirajte mi ravnicu ("Don't touch my plains", by Miroslav Škoro). First one is love song, and is from part of Croatia called Dalmatia (by the Adriatic sea), the second one is patriotic, expressing love and longing for homeland of man who has been expelled from it during the war. This song is from Slavonia (inland of Croatia, heavily suffered in croatian war for independence).

I love this.. No need to understand the language its universal.. It's pure emotional and lovely..

Oh, it is emotional, 100% it is. I'm from Slovenia but know the language and lyrics of those 2 songs. As I said - it is emotional as hell!

I thought everyone singing while they were playing was absolutely beautiful.

I don't understand a word, but it sounds like some devotion. I'm not sure if I ever hear something that beautiful and inspiring. I've got goosebump all over my body!

The first song is a song from Croatian region of Dalmatia sung by Vinko Coce-Vilo moja. The second one is from Croatian region of Slavonija which suffered the most during the Homeland War. The song is Ne dirajte mi ravnicu by Zlatni Dukati. It is a patrotic song.

Just perfect concert! Enjoyed every second of it. When crowd started singing along to this two songs the atmosphere was quite magical. Also proposed to my wife later that night, so all in all a night i wont forget for the rest of my life

Sharon.. the music and the words were written during the Croatian War of Independence 1990-1995-6: The farmer must leave his wheat fields to go and defend his country, his soil, his family, his wheat fields, his daily sustenance bread (Wheat): In the songs the farmers says meaning after the war is over 'l shall return to my wheat fields and just start over again'

The first song is a very famous a capella song, a love song that touches soul... Late Vinko Coce performed it first with his sublime voice... Beautiful song! The second song is from the war period and it sings about longing for homeland and how the author will return to the northeast part of Croatia... It always brings memories and tears to the eyes...

Many Croatian innocent citizens and soldiers gave their own life in Homeland war between 1991y.-1995y. Second song - 'Ne dirajte mi ravnicu' is deep inside our hearts and souls. Song telling us that after all the agony and destruction of war where we die together. We are thinking about our lives and returning to our devastated homes after war is over. 😌

I was lucky to have a friend in high school that came to the state I live in here in America via foreign exchange and he told us a little bit about Croatia and Slovenia's history and the war of independence. I remember actually crying and getting so upset about all the fatalities and then when I read up more on it later I was just in awe at the resilience of the countries. To be at war with each other and then call a truce and unite is what it is all about.

I played Cello for a few years while I was in school. I loved it. Out of high school I joined the navy as I did not want to be drafted. Well anyway when I was done with my 4 years of duty and a couple of years after that. I tried to pick up the Cello again but something inside of me died. I couldn't even get back to where I was before, while I was in school. I tried and tried but to no avail. So any way. I admire these two guys. Break a leg and keep up the great work that you do. :-)

Have listened to this almost daily since I heard it......words can't express the feelings I get when I hear this. What a gorgeous piece of music. BRAVO!
