Man we've been telling them for years they need real 0ga inputs on their 3kW amps! I also got one of these recently and I'm working on testing it now on the Amp Dyno. We'll see how it does compared to your in vehicle test. Either way that was pretty crazy! I'll send people to your vid for the subwoofer demo part. Keep bassing on!

Defenitly a great Idea. last October I picked up a 13w7 at a pawn shop for $200. Nothing wrong except a scratched cone (from bad a## kids). And the box ugly as hell Paired with a market place DD M1D it was putting in work

I was going to upgrade from Smart 3 to Smart 8 but now im defo gonna get this, taramps is amazing with new stuff all the time, unlike others that just release clones of cloned amps all the time with ancient technology

I am far from the biggest Taramps fanboy but your video really makes me want to go buy one of these. You're the man Parker. Keep it up!

I have a smart 8k bass that I didn't want to buy, but surge audio doesn't know when the ps7000 will be back in stock. I listen to it rather loud for an hour to and from work 6 days for the last 4 months. No problems. Maybe not loud enough cause I never see the clip light and the fans rarely turn. Usually when it was hot out and sitting in direct sunlight for about 7 hours through the back hatch window. It's much more powerful than my mmats 4000.1.

simple fix is to drill the terminal to fit the wire since its only needs a tiny bit more of a bigger hole .

For that dollar amount it is an insane amount of power. I come from a time where everything was a dollar a watt. 100 watts, $100 dollars. I started my bass hunger at 14 years old in 1985 so everything was expensive. And $100 in 1985 is like $600 today.

Fairly sure that they have proper 1/0 terminals on some of their bigger amps. A bit disappointing that they haven't included on the smaller ones (I have a Smart3 Bass).

Parker, did you put both rcas in the input/output connections? I heard that I'll mess the amp up if a rca is put in the output slot in the amp

The 8 15" seem to be playing good off the lower power.. should be able to do 1 off 1K amp and be fine

My eyes just about popped out of my head when I saw 7k+ watts on that small ass thing. That's crazy man such cheap watts these days compared to back in the days. Very cool. I recently bought a red recoil 1200 2 channel for 150. It bumps hard af. I love these value driven companies.

Yes the tar amp 8k smart on 4 shar vxf12s slammed my Dodge Twice as loud and low like hell my 400 amp alternator did 19 volts never dropped below 13.8 voltage

Seems like its a smart amp without the regulated output and built to take its full power 🤷‍♂️ if that's what it is I can't wait til the bigger versions are out 🙃

It has the same inputs as other Smart amps im pretty sure, he used "oversized" wire that was already twisted so it was much thicker. If he had cut off the end then It would fit, and the 4 gauge adapter was in there pretty loose

​​​​@@1ohmwreckerjust use a reducer.. you use ring terminals on the end of 0/1 gauge wire without asking questions, just use a solid 0 to 4 gauge reducer... i use copper sky high reducers... ive burried my clip light on my smart 3 bass for days smashing a set of u series 15s. ... fqqn thing doesnt even get warm to the touch... my coils get a lil warm tho.. 👀 i bought a second smart 3 bass for that problem tho.. why not?? theyre $270... Thank you Taramps, for like 12 cents per watt!!!!

I've considered Taramps or CT audio. Just got a kicker cxa1200.1 for $400 and this is more than twice RMS for $100 less
