the line in the controversial track " jatti jeone morh di bandook vargi " sparked the controversy as sidhu compared 'Mai bhago' a very respected woman sikh warrior with the model who was wearing short dress in the song .... the video shot was wrong, but sidhu's intention in that line was to tell that she can also fight hard for herself... anyways he could have been a little more careful using the name of such great personality.. although he faced the hatred but he didn't mean to hurt someone's religious sentiments

There was just a line in a song call 'jatti jeone mor vargi' which was comparing a historical figure of a worrior woman to today's woman byt the model was not wearing traditional attire. That's the reason for the controversy and 295 act. People protested outside his house. He had to change that line in the song.

295 song controversy was because Sidhu compared the fearless spirit of a historical Sikh warrior woman Mai Bhag Kaur with the character played by actress in the video of his song who is also fearless but not wearing traditional clothes. This was just a stupid controversy for which Sidhu even apologized but some people still protested .

Also his last song before dying is ''the last ride"

I will tell you why the controversy over his song Jatti Jeone Morh Wargi Happened.There is a Punjabi movie called Ardab Mutiyaran which is a female led comedy movie. In the movie the lead female character is a character who is blunt, brave and truthful and speaks her mind. Now going back hundreds of years, there was an Indian female warrior named Mai bhago, mai bhago was also a brave warrior who fought for women rights and encouraged woman to fight for themselves. When the makers of ardab mutiyaran approached sidhu and asked him to make a song for their movie, they described the lead character to him and told him they need a song for that character. And since Mai bhago and the character in the movie were very similar, sidhu sang the song from the girls point of view.in the video of the song, the girl is dressed in western clothes in which her stomach is exposed, a lot of indians consider that inappropriate.in the song there is a line in which he sings from the girl's point of view and says, "though I may be dressed in western clothes, but my thought process is of Mai bhago, and if a man tries to do anything inappropriate with me, i will slap him". There is an Indian Sikh committee in India called the shromani gurdwara parbandac committee, whenever there a song or movie in which there's something that can be considered hurtful to the Sikh committee, the makers of that song or movie are required to get an approval from the committee before releasing it, and the committee approved that movie Ardab Mutiyaran, and since Jatti Jeone Morh Wargi was a song in that movie it was approved as well because the committee agreed with sidhu and said that they felt there was nothing that would hurt Sikhs. It was after release that the controversy happened, when these people that sidhu talked about in 295 created the controversy on the song, and did all these things sidhu mentioned in 295, as they still felt offended by the fact that the girl in the video was wearing a dress that exposed her stomach while talking about a brave warrior.Sidhu said that the way you dress has nothing to do with the way you think, and that just because you are exposing your stomach doesn't mean that you are automatically inviting men to do sexual things to you. And that's what ticked those people of to the point to do everything sidhu mentioned in 295.As for the movie itself, the movie went on to become the highest grossing female led Punjabi film, and one of the highest grossing Punjabi movies, and was in theaters for quite a while.

In the song jatti jeone morh wargi, sidhu mention about mai bhago ji. Background about mai bhago ji - she was the leader a group of warriors who fought the mughals in history. Mughals were killing everyone who refuse to become muslim. Mughals were forcing their religion on everone in India. Tenth guru of sikhs- Shri Guru Gobing Singh Ji stood up to save people from mughals. Mai Bhago Ji was a warrior of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. She said i am willing to sacrifice myself to save people and their religion from mughals. In fact all sikhs stood up against mughals to save other people and religion. Background of song jatti jeone morh wargi - in this song, sidhu showed a women who is brave , who stand against anything which is going wrong in the society and protecting people. line in song jatti jeone morh wargi - sidhu said, that brave women is telling the society that donot think and donot judge me according to my clothes, i am still like Mai Bhago Ji who knows to fight against any evil going in society. I too have knowledge about my religion, i know who my ancestors were. People took this line in another way - because that girl was wearing short clothes and dancing. People felt offensive that Sidhu relates this girl with Mai Bhago Ji. Sidhu's intentions were not to offend people and he meant something else but people took it in another way. After that Sidhu deleted this line from the song and apologized.

actually he wrote a song n he talk about character of a lady n he compared a lady’s charater with a sikh religious lady. that lady’s character is as pure as the religious lady…. but people got angry when they saw the video because the model of that song wore short clothes people were like how could he compare a clothe less lady with a religious lady name….. protest took place and everyone start abusing his parents specially his mom… n then he cleared that what i wrote means if someone is wearing short cloths doesn’t mean she is characterless she can wear whatever she wants… but still people starting hate him then he wrote this song.. 295 from the prospective of his dad plzz like the comment if u understand thanks

The thing he did in his song Jatti Jeone Morh wargi was that he compared a Historic Religious Figure Mai Bhago’s courage & impression to that of model in the music video. I personally think there was nothing wrong in that but majority of people took issue with that especially because they hated Sidhu beforehand.
