Which isnt true because the kind folks who took him to the hospital said that he was still alive and breathing on his way to the hospital he even opened his eye to see the gunshot wound on his arm. The local hospital where he was taken to had NO STAFF only a nurse and 1 doctor.

Bambihaa is actually a bird whose voice is so sharp and sweet and before sidhu , jaswinder Brar , old punjabi female popular singer , sang this song ,and his mention is also in the song bambiha bole .so it is an old folklore. Even gurbani, guru granth sahib ji ( words of Sikhs holy living guru ) says about this bird , that baabiha speaks at the time of amritvela ( which is around 4 am at the time before early morning) , and then his sweet words spoken are heard and accepted in the court of the almighty .

Your question landed the right spot. It's a very deep nexus and *non-Indian* characters too were involved. Cannot speak about the efficiency of the Punjab police (since it changes with the Govt. and Dept. officials with their batch..) but fact remains that his security was removed abruptly and at the wrong time by the local Govt. which as per reports across the spectrum seems very unusual. Moreover the *non - India* angle falls under the purview of NIA for which investigation usually takes time owing to the complexity of territories which needs some international cooperation to get evidence. The same thing seems to be happening in SSR case since the probe took different turns finally landing at *again* D's door steps in Pak. There was also a report by a journalist or individual whom was kidnapped somewhere in Dubai or Iran regarding the drug smugglers speaking of plot to terminate one of the famed Indian actors and named him SSR ! ( *This is not speculation - This came directly from TOI who is fed by the ANI which is a credible news agency till date.* ) NIA was active even in Canada for God sake to probe links behind the Farmer issue and due their input that many OCI card holders were in possession of illegal farming lands in Punjab - their cards were cancelled and property taken away. They had given these farming lands on a lease to the less economically able Kisaan and made profits from this. An OCI holder does not have right to own any agricultural land in India. It is them whom had instigated many farmers too since many of their contacts whom brought produce from them were corrupt intermediaries whom cheat the system by selling some grams or half kilo less by saying that some produce got infected or spoilt and *got the "same money" for the lesser weight/quantity of produce !* There is just too much to this. Due to this NIA, NCB along with CBI had to make a joint probe to weed out the Drug *empire* which is again a *long drawn out route.* One needs *all facts before making any accusation* else the courtroom battle would carry on. With the drugs being shipped from the Afgh. and current situation...... of course the probe has gotten herculean. Without Indian agents in these areas how can we get any evidence ? Indian Intelligence agency isn't sitting still at all - they are facing hurdles with politics within and outside the country. Blaming them would be foolhardy but yes, *citizens must keep putting the pressure so that the focus keeps on it.* During this very CBI probe a top official was transferred out of Mumbai ! Being a resident of Mumbai, I know how corrupt the system is. People struggle day to day basis *even for change of property certificates....* Once upon a time you had to deal with underworld leaders to get things done despite their being a legal system for all this ! Even to the Govt. officials you had to pay some black money else you won't get anything ! That has somehow toned down over years and slightly better now. Unless one of the State Govts. cracks down harshly on these hooligans - one cannot expect any change.
