Did the same about six months ago. I bought an older brocock hunter in .22, and I had a old hawke scope to go on top. Cost me buttons but so much fun.

Great video Jeff 👍👍 Its nice to hear a bit of honesty especially when things ain't going to plan...you weren't having much luck doing that video, barking dogs, noisy kids, the weather, your car breaking down and cant go anywhere, the gun, the scope... you did good Jeff not to have a total meltdown on camera and start smashing things up 🤣🤣🤣 so hats off to you Jeff.. 👍🤘👌

Thanks Jeff, I've seen your AA S400, she's a belter 💕 and if I remember correctly you've got a really funky custom stalk for it..👍👍Yeh The AA S410 I picked up had been fully serviced, and the blueing was like new, the stock had few minor little dings, so a brown permanent marker sorted that out... I stuck a new Wulf Hurricane scope 4.5-28×50 on it. Sportsmatch mounts.. so I'm good to go 😃😃 I dont have a lot of money and I'm not working.. but some places do Klarna and PayPal does Pay in 3.. so you can save up and pay it off.. anyway thanks for your videos.. they're always interesting and informative and entertaining to.. have a great weekend Jeff.. 👍🤘👌

Hold sensitivity, spring guns don’t like being rested either, this would account for the fliers and inconsist points of impact.

i think it’s easy to get wrapped up in the “pellet on pellet” band wagon and with spring gun it’s an unrealistic expectation, not saying i have not put pellets in the same hole but out of 10 shots 25 yards i may get 3/5 in there on a good day . but you have to be realistic about your expectations of you and the gun and don’t listen to the pellet on pellet boys down the range 🤣🤣🤣🤣 i have told them a million times not to exaggerate 🤣🤣🤣🤣 plus it’s off putting for new shooters because they think they are crap if it’s not going through the same hole . one fellow was shooting 5 pence groups at 30 yards and saying i don’t know what’s wrong with this gun or me . i said are you kidding mate 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’ve got a 97, and if it’s not pellet on pellet, it IS me, also got a tx hc coming, will be interesting, but I hear what you’re saying, almost impossible to do all of the time.

  • @PiperX1X

Totally agree pal, I’ve been out with my 97 this afternoon as I’m selling my 95 and changed the scopes over so I wanted to get the 97 back on zero as I do a lot of vermin control and I want the pellet to hit the engine room every shot. I zero at 30 yards and I didn’t come home until pellets were stacking up on top of each other. And checked all other distances back down to 10 yards. I want a clean kill every time and I’m a stickler to make sure that the pellets are hitting home every shot. Pellet on pellet with practice as you know can be done once you find which pellets your gun like best .

I’ve done the occasional clover leaf 10 shot group at 40 yards with an out of the box BSA Supersport from a sitting position which shows even a low end springer might be capable of it,but everything had to be spot on consistent and after a lot of practice. No room for hold inconsistency etc.
