honestly I think the best mode of going up will always be a bubble collumn, even though its not a staircase. its fast and uses minimal resources.

The reason you can go over fences with carpets on it is because the fence has a hitbox of 1½ up. As soon as you put the carpet on, there is a normal 16x16x16 pixel or 1 block hitbox. The fence has a 4x4x24 hitbox, allowing you to jump on the carpet, then go up what would be like a slab in the middle of the carpet.

@@endgamer7896 The animals are coded to not jump over block that are higher than 1 block unless they go to a corner/edge that touches a block that is 1 block tall different from their current block position. The reason why you can jump over carpets is not because the actual fence's hit box becomes 1 block tall... its because carpets originally has only 1 preset height of the same lowest block height as the block height you placed it in... Since a block can only keep 1 block height value, the older fence's height value is overridden by the carpet's height but it still retain its 1.5 block height value as a block entity from the block space bellow it... this is why animal's can't jump over a fence....

you can also make a 'floating' staircase with carpet on top of string. used to do this for contemporary builds

Idea: A tutorial on making a nether highway and nether hubs/stations. Idk if boats and blue ice or strider streets or rails and carts make the most efficient options for travel, but they are usually pretty fun to work with :3

For mining stairways I go for a 3x3 spiral stairway with the middle block removed so I can drop down the middle into a water block.

I’m explaining this because it confused me to- The Capet on a fence/wall method works because as you know the fence isn’t a full block and in that it also could extra space with it! An invisible slab added to the top! And if you put a carpet on top it allows you to hop onto the carpet then the invisible slab into the other side of the fence/wall!

I had a “staircase” where you would step on a trapdoor, then hit the trapdoor above it, and jump. It was pretty quick one you got the hang of it.

In Minecraft 1.4 we can push that last one 1 step further. by using the command block below the pressure plate you can see what it looks like when the video is ready.

How on earth does the chest one work, I've been trying to figure it out for hours? It's one of the few I wanna figure out to use.

I tried to do the same "forced laugh while talking" thing he did every time he did it, and it made me dizzy.

Skip I find the insanely fastest method to go up and down by using 2 skeleton with punch 70 (depends on the height limit) it's will send you from one place to another . Steps 1:- trap a skeleton in the ground and the top of ur area such that they can only able to shoot straight For going up u need to make a 2 block water stream And wait to shoot the skeleton at u same for coming down but u don't need water . Point to be noted :- 1. u need to have a water bucket with u or healing potion or slow falling/ feather falling in boots 2. If u have thrones in ur Armor so unequipped the Armor or use a contraption of dispenser that contains regeneration or Instant healing .

You just use souls sand and put the water. Then put magma to go down and also put water. And it will be go up go down easier

Ngl I subscribed to someone's channel with my ring finger before this vid was posted actually I was standing outside with my coffee and my right hand was carrying stuff my mobile was on the table and a channel I wanted to subscribe well my one hand was holding my coffee and another was carrying stuff so I used my left ring finger to subscribe to a channel I don't remember.
