Chuck, I've been waiting for this kind of review on AI. Thanks for the great presentation!
Another great review. I love how you dissect the pros and cons of the mostly over valued AI related stocks. Very timely!
I'm a relative new investor (4 years) and have learned a tremendous amount from my past mistakes. FastGraphs is the best for a quick reference for evaluating stock price and valuation, growth. Nothing better out there in my opinion. Can you share the 29 companies in a spread sheet or ?? and also what criteria used to screen to get to these 29 and then also to pare it down to 10 companies? I'm waiting with 25% cash in my account, for a correction so I can open a position in some of these.
Great work 👍👍
Great video as always. Any chance we can get an update video on MPW from you? Wish you all the best 🙂
very good video with a lot of value
Thanks Chuck - great video. After deep research - I sold Intel at a slight loss - it had been a dog for me - and bought Nvdia. There is no comparison. Intel missed the boat and may never get back to any semblance of their past life. I certainly would not bet a penny on it happening.

The US government think otherwise with the chips act. I think intel will pan out in 3-5yrs.
Thank you
Amazon still interesting
so no value in pltr ?
Any recommended AI etf's......?
thanks
Would like to see your opinion on the other 19 companies on this list
we need an updated video for intel. down 35% since this video!!!
Genpact 😉👍
I agree with NVDA it has the most potential to grow out of all the others
Been adding Intel. It looks like the best risk/reward ratio to me. Most of the rest are extremely risky, with no earnings. I’m only interested in businesses that make money. Thank you, Maestro Valutazione!

You have chosen the biggest laggard of the bunch by far, with EPS growing under 5% ann. on a long basis, while having huge volatility. This stock is cheap for a reason. Had they been in different business than booming IT/AI, they might have been a carcass already.
@MarshaBonForte

@@mrlizard1986 Yes, you are correct. Intel also has extremely negative investor sentiment, which is understandable given share price performance over the last few years. But the future looks bright. At some point Intel will get through the transitional period it’s currently in.

A gem of a video! Thank you.
Isn't C3 that weird company that originally was about CO2 or something when that was the hype, but changed to "AI" once that became a hype?

@maosw

It was IOT, but yes - they change their name and ticker to whatever the current hype is. If you look at their earnings and company presentations, what they actually sell has very little to do with "AI" - valve control for oil and gas industry or something like that and all the tech and gov contracts they like to tout are tiny and/or loss leaders so they can pretend to be more than they are to pump their stock... But clueless traders don't care what they buy as long as "number goes up" - they just see the ticker AI and chase the stock higher.
no Dell?
is this a part1?

Fact on C3ai it has already re named three times and done complete different hypes. e.g. 2009 as C3. It was focused on energy management, and never earned money - well of course outside of poor investors.

@@bass08053Sure, bro, sure.
I've been in the IT industry for +20 years and by now the whole AI craze has turned into nothing but a running gag among almost all of my colleagues and pretty much everyone I work with (except for sales but they're a joke by itself) - impressive at first, but once you try to do something actually useful with it, more often than not it turns out the be worse than useless and just a huge waste of time. Are there actual use cases for generative AI? Yeah, sure. Are they worth billions and billions? I just don't see it. Will engineers find some useful stuff to do with all that GPU compute about to become available? I bet they will, they always do. That's not AI though, that's just engineers doing what engineers do - make use of resources available. Will it be the next industrial revolution, or anywhere close to what Wallstreet expects it to be? I very much doubt it. On the contrary, I think the current race to slap an AI label on literally everything to pump your stock price while building out insane amounts of datacenter infrastructure without there being much of a use case yet might turn out to be the biggest misallocation of capital since the dotcom bubble... Remember fiberoptics and network infrastructure back then? Yeah, exactly like that but on an even larger scale. We're talking about the largest companies on the planet after all. But maybe I'm just getting too old and cynical. I guess we'll see. If I'm right, most of those stocks will eventually go down in flames like you wouldn't believe once reality sets in.

Value investing is a joke, if Ben Graham were alive he'd buy the index fund. Or you can use Fastgraphs to buy WHR, LEG, WBA or AAP and see your money vanish.

“If ben graham were alive” Warren buffett took his strategy and perfected it and has a 20% annualized return over the past 40+ years without buying index funds. The only reason buffett hasn’t beaten the market the past 10 years is because he is the market so I don’t agree with your point

@@guillermovandening2503 Warren Buffet is the market ? Really, good luck loosing your money trying to be Warren Buffet - buy AAPL, KO and BAC meanwhile watching passive "dummies" outperform you simply by putting money in index funds.

tell me you are a rookie investor without telling me you are a rookie investor. You might be confused with the meaning of value investing. It means you invest in stocks that appear to be trading for less than their book value. Microsoft, Amazon. Meta, Google and even NVDA were all value stocks in 2022 because they were priced below their book value. Just like XOM and CVX were value stocks in 2020 or JPM & BAC as value stocks in March 2023. Value investing does not mean you buy ANY cheap stocks. Many are cheap for a reason. You have much to learn
@jminter
Ай бұрын
@@kurniawanms2 you are funny guy, buy any of these stocks and in 5 years chances of beating the index are less than 2% and the over performing will be just about that number as well. Also check his videos from 2022, he was pushing stocks like Legget and Platt, Advance Auto Parts, Skyworks Solutions and Stanly Black Decker - we all know where these are now.
