When they are biting that way dont do long straight runs. Every now and then do a zig zag back and forth this will speed up your bait then slow it a few times. You don't have to wait for an inside corner. Also once hooked up keep the line tight. You will keep loosing fish if you don't keep the bend in the rod. Numerous times you let the fish go slack. Amazing video though. Earned a subscribe! Those pike are massive well done!

Normally this is a basic tactic but with heavy winds and slow presentation its hard to do and sometimes not effective.

In stronger winds just do wider zig zags. They are in a Lund it can handle waves much larger than those. Lund has a reverse chine and can track amazing. For days that the fish are lethargic or biting on inside switch to a slower bait. I bet a huge bucktail with large blades would do amazing! The flash in the low light would also be beneficial. If you go back try a huge buck tail. If they don't bite blame it on me :)

@@FoxFishing4K thats good advice I was thinking same thing. I fish musky in northwest ontario structure probably close to this, Id try using 13" Grandma or any of the bigger musky cranks get down deep and smash the piles down there, 3 trebles as well, but they probaly tried those before.

I' m proud too live directly at the border to the Netherlands, Germany is nice, but they Netherlands are better!

Catch and release protect your Pike stocks for Angling, promote Pike conservation, the supermarket is full of inexpensive tins of tuna to eat, no need to kill Pike nowadays.

It is improving in Poland, it will take some time but every year more and more anglers like you are promoting sportfishing in the correct way. Keep on spreading the word and Poland could be the next pike fishing paradise in the future!

great video. Just a note you should always try and release them by holding them head first into current or waves not backwards. The first fish sort of looked like you were holding it the wrong way, maybe just the camera angle. Awesome to see those big girls released!

Great to hear Marc and I love the positive approach in criticism. In my experience, the theory that pike cannot get oxygen when water flows from behind is nothing more than a fairytale. It would mean that I pike cannot breath when swimming downstream on a river. We've caught, released and caught again (multiple times, gotta love C&R) several fish this way, so I do not stress too much about water flowing in from 'the wrong direction'.

What are the reels you are using? Great video as well 👍

Good stuff ! Trolling itself seems to be a lot of work and combinations and it is not just a walk in a park. I have just started this season but it is not easy in a 40ha lake with max depth oh 35 m and differential bottom structures .. but probably its the best way to get to big ones. Thanks for sharing some of Your knowledge, techniques, schemes as well. It is always great to listen to someone with bundle of experience ... - so spare no informations and thoughts gentelman :) P.S Do You use downrigger for vertical fishing or do You also use it on planners for longer distances to achieve some exact depth ? FIVE !

Super to hear that you like this approach too! It is a great technique for when you aim for those bigger fish, especially when they are scattered around the lake. Try to find patterns and exploit those. The downrigger only works when fishing directly underneath the boat. With sideplanners its always a bit of a guess, but we got a video coming up on that part too!

Maan you cant write 28kg of pike like that.. True clickbait warning. Wanted to see this 28kg monster but i get now that you meant total. Otherwise, keep up these longer videos, really like them. A LOT more than the usual 10-15 quick videos usually posted by other fishers especially here in Sweden. Just like short movie,

Try putting your big motor in gear and trimmed all the way down to control the amount the back of the boat swings around. Those are some great fish though.

In gear as in neutral or? Its running in neutral because I needed to charge my Rebelcell battery in the front. Forgot to charge it 🤦🏻‍♂️ Range Extender works as an onboard charger so it savad the day 😁👌

First drink your milk, then wait 10 min then try to pissed in the water and make 8 turns I did it on the riverbank first time and get 130 euro, must say didnt inspected that 🐴
