    Only Ford owners know why there are many cars without logos in the front. Got my only halfway turned around, so it stood up and after i finished my work i smoothly smashed the hood down and it was gone 😢

    I had a MK2 stage 2. It was a very good car. I loved the engine sound. What a car ! I've sold it at 333000 km+ and the engine was still running very well.

    Thank god the previous owner of my Focus told me that when I got it. No idea what the engineers at Ford were thinking when they designed that, but it would've been pretty embarrassing to look it up online.

    Based on the 100-200 times, it should be closer to 250 hp than 270. Stage 1 is usually 260 hp and 420 nm without a downpipe and exhaust you don’t get much more, not to mention if you still have the factory cat.

    Sometimes the full power on these turbos is achieved at 95% throttle - it is on mine - leave 5mm travel instead of completely flooring it and you get more power.

    this is maximum 260hp I would say. There is plenty room of inprovement on this car. RS Intake, Blockmod, good aftermarket exhaust, downpipe, upgrade intercooler (probably the most important), upgrade dump valve and then you have 320 HP. 100-200 roughly 12s then. Top Speed ~ 260kmh

    This car had really decent quality and the engine is amazing. Honestly I think that this guy should check out the car. I don't think that it has 280HP/470NM. It accelerates almost like the regular version without ecu tune.

    Quality isnt decent, its honestly shit, i have one and the rings around the vents are falling off and their are a few other issues but i dont care for that, still 5 cylinders 😂

    @@herrxxx2729 - top end was detuned in 1st gen Kuga, max power at 6,200rpm is 147kW, torque was also limited in 1st and 2nd gear (due to the 5-speed auto) to 280Nm from 1,600rpm to 4,000rpm, from 3rd gear onwards the end made the full 320Nm, they also had the Haldex Gen 3 constant AWD which gave it tremendous traction

    Had a orange 225 mk2 facelift stage 3 and i drove the crap out of it and zero issues at all. Just a ton of no traction. Engine sound on these 5 pots are superb.

    @@thecreedy I mean, not very amazing, maybe they start making torque early, I don't know much about these engines, but for example Megane RS makes over 460nm torque with just a remap [talking about the Megane III RS] and it's a 2.0T 4-cylinder, but I guess that's a healthy number for 4 or 5 cylinder engines, so you might be right!

    I could imagine he should invest into a 3" exhaust system. Then it does not feel bottlenecked at higher revs anymore. Mine is stage 3 with 300hp and does 100-200 in 12,5s so there should be some more potential with a proper exhaust 🤔 and a bigger intercooler is a must but I think that is already changed, eitg the original one the ecu limits the power even on stock performance at warm summer days

    Well I’m not as disappointed now. I expected to be Green with Envy. My 2011 SES with some FXWERKS upgrades, 2 1/2 in Cat Back & Stealth Muffler, ECU reflash for updated TSP and Air Fuel mix, timing & New Pioneer Glass Touch Screen & Maestro RR added behind for the Controls on the wheel and those GAUGES that Ford was to cheap to put in are onboard on the touch screen behind CarPlay. No Turbo, Automatic 2.0 Lt. It’s a Purdy Sporty grocery getter for GrandDads that would like a faster Tuner Car. It’s not a Race Car. But I routinely go Lose Your License & a few weekends in jail,,,,, FAST,,,, on the way home. Ohhhhh the steering is a scaled down GT-40 rack & pinion. Really Very Very Nice, coupled with Eibach 2” drop sport springs & GoodRich G-Force radials. It’s good for those corners, Very Tight. No Surprises. It will do 120 plus and get 30mpg. Little Air Starved at take off because of the baby air inlet in the grill. I need to work on that. Gas It, Oil it, Wash it, change tires every 50k. It’s probably THE best maintenance free, rally type, American,,, Euro Touring Ride I’ve ever had. But they stopped making them for the Americans.

    @C Hartnett I have an orange one atm and all I did was painting the light trims black to keep the whole car in a simple two tone design, looks pretty nice that way :) (also some interior mods like orange floor matts and a reupholstered stock steering wheel in a sporty look)

    I’m an SI user, but i dont think these models beat the Mk6 GTI. Just saying, i Have seen Cupra MK1 with the 225 giving the business to these ones, so... i don’t think so.

    yeah but any cupra or gti is so road disconnected off the road whereas here on this focus, the steering is so direct and sharp u have no clue. The ride is rough but very stable. outshines the gti imo in most aspects. Sounds too

    The Golf (and other cars based on it) from this era weren't that good. The ST has much better steering and gear change. I drove one back to back with a Cupra K1 back in the day and the Cupra felt numb and pretty boring in comparison. The ST has way more torque and a higher top speed too, the 5 pot is pretty strong.

    I think the gti is a great car but bro everyone has a Gti and its ridiculous so that makes the car boring in my opinion. I don't like cars you often see.

    No, no, no.... It's not 180kg but 1800kg. Also, since it has start button instead of the key, bonnet is opening either by the key when you flip the Ford sign or the handle on passanger side. And this ST can definitely go faster than 237kmh 😉

    In 2014 spent 1 year test driving 1000 used 2010 Ford ST. I searched for the one that suited me. Never found it. Was the car I always wanted. Cheap with decent power and you can do them up easily. Every ST I drove was buggered and had major issue's. Also the beaST chows gas wuicker than a fat boy with a box of doughnuts. If you got a heavy foot that's not ideal. Still A car I want to own one day.

    Definetly prefer the pre facelift, the facelift looks almost identical to the titanium, pre facelift looks more aggressive and it's more identifiable

    He failed... started pull from 3th and switch to 6th before 200km/h... So he went 3-4-5-6 He should just go 4th and then 5th till 200 km/h

    Tbh it was so better, before when you didn't talk. You could really feel the relaxing vibe, you could hear evey part of the vehicle, but now that you're talking, it interrupts everything.
