This is the perfect channel for me. I live in eastern Washington, own a 270wsm and a 308 Ruger American go wild. Half of your ammo tests apply directly to me. Thanks guys

Would it be possible for you guys to go out further? I would like to know the max distance that these will expand. Supposedly it's whatever distance the bullet reaches when it slows to 1800 fps. Keep up the good work

You should test 308 168gr tipped tsx, I believe it will outperform 168 tsx and 165 hornady

Looks like high b.c. .30 cals do the best with Accubond. No?

We’re these hand loaded or factory ammunition I have a 270WSM in a model 70 and was thinking of trying these bullets if I can get some to hand load according to your expansion test what distance would you think that the bullet perform reliably like on elk also if you are hand loading what powder was you using what I had found from some reloads 7828 worked and I did load some 140 grain hornadys with retumbo to try

Barnes loads this bullet in there vortex range in .270Win. It hasn't performed on game very well just drilling deer.

This is what I tell people who say velocity doesn’t matter.. not for targets but for hunting ethically and proper bullet expansion it does..My 6.5-300 is 300-700 fps faster than a 6.5 Creedmoor and that equals better expansion at longer ranges.

are you using h4831 pow for your reloads by chance?

@@realmetis8002 Everything I've seen about the TTSX suggests it would be a good bullet option, particularly if you are expecting a longer shot. Personally, I would lean towards the Nosler Partition as they are known for deep penetration. I would feel a little more confident if I were to hit the shoulder. That said, I only typically don't have an opportunity to shoot past 150 yards while hunting. Give us an update once you've had a chance to test it out!

@@ExF1Guy the only thing I could find right now was hornady interlocked in 150 ..some friends of mine have had good results with them in the regular 270 win

@@realmetis8002 I shot a moose with a .270 win using 130 gr Hornady stt years ago. I shot it 3 times in about 10 seconds and every round went out the other side expanded.. It would have died after the first shot I just had a property boundary close so I kept shooting. I would definitely use it again.
