These life hacks and tricks are gonna be unexpectedly helpful in numerous life situations.
If you often use eyewear you'll like these hacks.
If your glasses often fogging up, I advise you to rub some plain soap into the glasses and then wipe it up with a napkin as usual.
When your eyeglasses keep slipping down, take two rubber bands, tie them round the temples of the glasses. That's it, no more slipping down!
If you're just trying to pick up a new pair of glasses or buying eyewear for the first time, don't forget to take the table test. Simply put the eyeglasses right on the table and then carefully look at the glasses' temple tips, whether they both reach the table surface or not. If not, it means the temple tips are of different length! It may cause a lot of discomfort while wearing them.
In case you have high myopia of −6.00 diopters or more and accidentally lost your eyewear on the working desk. Grab your phone, turn on the camera and zoom in on the table surface until you see your glasses.
Another nasty problem every four-eyed probably faced - scratches on the lenses. Put some toothpaste on the lens and rub it in.
Did you know how handy plastic bags can be? You can use them as a smartphone case to protect your gadget from the damp and sand when you take it to the beach with you.
You can cook an awesome puffy omelet using plastic bag as well!

Throughout the video it's hard to know if they're using salt, sugar or some other white powdery substance... Toothpaste, salt and baking soda are all great cleaning substances. Toothpaste on glass and mirrors, salt on your cast iron pans, baking soda on your butcher block surfaces. Also note that at 10:06 they show salt being used to clean the iron. Not sugar! Sugar melts and will stick to your iron! That's the stuff you want to get off ;)

No need to use up a fresh lemon every time you slice apples. Much cheaper method (in the long run): crushed vitamin C tablets. Keep the powdered vitamin C in an empty spice jar near where you store your fruit so it's handy to sprinkle on anytime. It lasts just about forever, and not so much lemony flavor ruining the taste of your apple when you eat it later. :) I do this all the time.

Pretty sure it's lemon juice. Good for your hair, just don't go out in the sun afterwards unless you want to lighten it.
I just used the 'white powder' de-greaser and it worked a charm. I used bicarbonate of soda and put a greasy grill into an old metal meat tray. I then added a generous amount of bi-carb and boiling water. It fizzed up and I let it sit for about half an hour. Not only was the grill cleaned it also cleaned out the old meat tray to a degree where I could probably re-use it. It removed old burned-on grease and soot. Very effective! B

Love all the tips. Unfortunately I got very confused of the type of the products used to clean sugar salt and baking soda looked alike and so many times soap, toothpaste, hand cream as they are all white. Clearly identification might help. 🙏🏼 👍🏻♥️

Omg hi! I’m not really a full Portuguese but my great Great Grandmother is. I’m a singaporean but I inherited my brown hair from her. I always get questions if I dyed my hair because a normal singaporean hair colour is black but some are different Colour because thy actually dye their hair or it’s also inherited. Some of these are pretty clever. (The plastic pop bottle repurposed as craft tidy one might also do as an outdoor bird feeder..) But what was used to clean that filthy burned pan? Table salt, I presume?? You should say in the onscreen captions. Could be bicarb! Also I wouldn't do that as shown with a pomegranate!! They have tough skin and if you did that, you'd probably just smash the glass/hurt your hand! ✋🤕

Thank you for labelling some of the ingredients. Sometimes it’s hard to know the difference between sugar, salt or baking powder. I know common sense would tell you not to put sugar on the bottom of the iron, but common sense isn’t that common! Better to know for sure. I didn’t know what the blue liquid was as we don’t have anything like that in Australia. I still don’t know what it is.
