It took me half a day, but then I was having to film it and cut open the interior panel, so I would guesstimate about 2 hours

Great video! I bought the same carrier but I'm struggling with the bolts to fit the actual wheel onto the carrier, did you use a regular M 14 bolt?

I just used standard sprinter wheel bolts, however, maybe you have the same problem I had... on the carrier I received Will had forgotten to tap the holes (they were smooth inside). He sent me a tap tool to cut a thread in the holes - which was really easy to do and then the standard bolts worked. I also have 2 anti-theft bolts on there just in case. Maybe your wheel bolt holes aren't tapped either? Cheers, john

@@RedNemesisDogPrime only got mine on 4th so not done anything yet other than take racking and bulkhead out. Start with my windows in a couple of weeks. I must be crazy as finished my project on a gen 3 shogun and spent nearly 6k on it,over 2.5k for the ARB bumper and winch but got fed up with it lol. Stay safe!!!

I reckon its always good to have a bit of a 'project' on the go...Saw your video of the Shogun getting up the hill - outstanding! You probably know this but it doesn't cost anything to say it - Whilst you are preparing the van make sure you seal off the holes for the side trim (I think it is the same problem for Crafters, but definitely a problem with Sprinters) down both sides or water will ingress into your insulation, or worse still collect on the inside channel. @@RedNemesisDogPrime just watched that video yeah really good thing to know that it's something really easy to overlooked if you don't know,i didn't that great thanks. Yeah can imagine putting all that work into your interior and to find a leak at a later date. Would be a real head wrecker.

I am going to replace it with a long term review. In the meantime, all the information on tyre sizes came from the oponeo.co.uk website. If you go to their website and then click on 'Customer Guide', then choose the 'Tools' option and then 'Tyre Size Calculator' the comparison tool is at the bottom of the page. They also have similar sections for rims and choosing between steel or alloys in the tools section.

Glad you liked the videos and the 'what you see is what you get' approach. The oft seen on KZread ''Hey Whatsupp' Friends...'' / ''BEST van conversion in the WORLD'' / ''Retired SCIENTIST converts AMAZING camper'' style of titles and over excited Tigger behaviour in the video is so last decade I reckon - not really my style as you know. Ags van is really good - did you get to see Connor's 'Kite' Vito van conversion - fit for purpose given his lifestyle methinks. Hopefully see you up here in Scotland in the next 6-12 months - Road-trip convoy into the Northern wilderness maybe?? You will be pleased to know that not only have I evolved to Wayfayrer expedition foods but that I do also have a BBQ!!
