Mitsu really, really needs to completely move on from the Outlander lineup or completely exit the North American car market for good.

@@roberthoyt7921 why? the best selling car type in the US is crossovers/SUVs and the outlander is by far their best seller. Gonna guess its the most profitable model as well. I understand the desire for sports cars like we got back in the day but that is a niche market with lots of great competition

MPG can be irrelevant in a PHEV, what's important is the EV driving abilities. Like how is the EV mode for power and what is the battery range ? That is the only reason for buying one is it can be charged and driven without using gas. If someone isn't charging it and only worried about MPG makes more sense to save $4000 and buy a non plugin hybrid.

Understated heavy hitter the Outlander PHEV. Since 2012/13 the crossover singlehandedly jept Mitsubishi afloat in the European market. Pity that Mitsubishi (Nissan and Renault) are too shortsighted to forsee how a market oversaturated in premium SUVs is doomed to collapse.

With all of its sporty coupes and sedans gone to the dogs, Mitsubishi is hardly popular, anymore, especially now that it’s concentrating on just plain SUVs.

This thing is a piece of garbage-trade in value falls off the cliff when you trade it in-check for yourself-my brother had 2 Outlanders-interior fell apart after 50000 miles on both.
