Todays, not a cruising video, instead its more of a vlog... vlog. Funds are getting low again, so its time for dad to look for another job, he's got an interview lined up with the Plough Inn in Shifnal, Telford. Its a long way from us now but it won't be soon, once we're back in that area. But grandad's old car is about had it, so he asked us to look for a new one for him, and boy have we found a beauty. Not too far from where dads interview is. so today were killing a few birds with one stone

That is a a lovely Merc. Just to talk about petrol prices. Grindley Brook in Whitchurch (which you cruised through) is £1.37 per litre today, cheapest in the country.

That's great news about Grindley Brook we will definitely be filling up there. We got a very good buy for my Dad it's only had one owner more or less in its life. From a year old it's been owned by an old gentleman that sadly has passed away but he really looked after it.
I can’t get over how much you look like your Dad, Diane. He is very handsome and does not look his age. ❤️🇨🇦

I have inherited the bags under the eyes unfortunately or I usually call them suitcases lol 😆. Yes my Dad is pretty good for nearly 85.

Petrol prices aren't really coming down much especially red diesel for Olive. It will be 2 years we have been on Olive tomorrow and we paid 67.9p then and now it is 1.50 a litre which is more than double and the coal has doubled in price as well.

Great video watching you all doing the regular things. Congratulations on having a second car or was that for your granddad…and on Andy’s job. Although this is over a month ago, it’s hard to tell if everything is going the same. Just the same, this was a fun video. 😎

Yes the car my for my Dad Joshs grandad and he is chuffed to bits with it. He has had mercedes for years and loves them so it had to be mercedes. He has a lovely 1984 mercedes coupe in his drive that he only takes out when it's not raining and wouldn't part with it.

@@valyd45 I don't mind doing anything for my Dad after losing my brother suddenly in October 2020 it is only me know and my children and they are very busy with their lives so I love putting a smile on his face.

Duck eggs are lovely you don't know what you are missing Jane. I am sure you can get them in New Zealand. My cough is gone now, the trouble is with me if I get a bad chest or bronchitis it takes weeks to get better.
Lovely Mercedes, you definately got a good buy, grandad will be happy with that. Congrats Andy on new job. How,do you find parking near boat,is there an app that takes you near the canal?

Josh uses Google to find parking spots it's quite easy when you know how. But Andy and I leave all that kind of thing to Josh as he knows what he is doing. Dad loves his new car he us chuffed to bits with it.
It's a good job I've got plenty of bacon in the fridge but only chicken eggs 😎😎😎

@@darkmatterxi l have on many occasions when l lived in the Meon Valley deep in the Hampshire Countyside they are a bit hard to come by in darkest Old Portsmouth where l now live 😎😎😎

@@johnworboys6435 I know it's a shame that they don't sell them in the supermarkets. We usually find them in local farm shops or along the side of the road when we are driving.
