The guy that brought skateboarding to Sweden (Per Holknekt) also pretty much started the trend of skaters having baggy pants (atleast in sweden) because he used hockey pads for protection and needed durable roomy pants to fit them.

The Ollie was not the first skateboard trick unless you're talking about tricks off-ground. The Coffin was pioneered much earlier than this, by Dave Hilton of the Hobie Super Surfer Skateboard Team in the early 1960s.

I don't think you can say scooters existed first at all. The earliest skateboards, and I mean genuine ones capable of steering in a modern way, were converted rollerblade wheels on 2 by 4s (wood). But well before that there were devices with larger more regular stroller wheels in the early 20s for sure. I'd say the earlier skateboards from the 40s were pretty legit. But there's a whole range of 'zeepwagens' without seats kids used to play with all the way back then. The real wood-with-four-wheels stuff is much much older than the 1920s. So if a 'skateboard' is some wood with four wheels, it is much much older. I would not say those wooden skateboards with a crate as handle bars are really 'scooters'. That's like saying a scooter with a seat, is a bike, when really it's a scooter... but with a seat on it. Potatoes potatoes, yes, but you'll catch my drift. Anyway, the earliest real skateboards are pretty darn old. I'd say older than genuine scooters (which by my definition needs an actual steering system, not just 'handlebars').

I wouldn't say the ollie on a vert ramp was the first 'trick'. I'm sure something like gaining air over a bump of sorts, a manual or kick turn, reverts, various grab tricks, amongst which the boneless and possibly even some early no complies all naturally predate it. It's mostly just super hard to find some good historic or anecdotal evidence for it. The current generation of skateboarders have pretty much forgotten about a lot of freestyle tricks. Had no comply tricks been less popular on social media or had there not been freestylers still doing these tricks, we perhaps wouldn't have seen much of those anymore. Same goes for pressure flip stuff, which is stuff that all predates regular flip tricks. Keep in mind things like no complies and pressure flips were looked down upon as being 'too easy' for a real skateboarder, but there was definitely a time where those were what people would do a lot. I'd say the ollie on vert being one of the first 'recorded and named tricks' would probably be a bit more accurate. For most of the modern tricks, we have to give the earliest freestylers credit though and of course give people like Rodney Mullen credit. But even he did not invent everything. I'm sure multiple people have invented the same tricks and various people gave names to tricks that already existed. It's a fuzzy mess figuring out who or what came first really.
