Yes! I'm pretty sure his 25 mile hike was more like 35 by time he doubled back so much to get all those shots. At the end of day one when he said he'd only gone about 1.5 miles, I didn't think he'd ever make it in 3 days :) But great final product!

@@Aloha_Alan I think he may have had a drone that he made static, and then he could just shoot it back to himself, cuz he took those sky shots at the top of the mountain so perhaps having a drone spared him from the switchbacks to get the camera? Id ask but doubt he would have time to even see the question.

You all need to hike these hikes: 1. Petersburg, Wv North Fork Mountain trail and see Chimney Top. Then continue on. The rock formations are unique to the area. North Fork mountain trail is about 20+ miles long. 2. Dolly Sods to Lions head. Great campsites, unique formations. 3. High Falls South Southeast of Elkins. 8 miles out and back. You could connect it with parts of the Allegheny Trail. Great campsites, 3 waterfalls

Another really nice solo trip Robby! Those forested hills looked amazing, I bet even more so in autumn! "The people you help don't need to have the same challenges as you did" Loved that, as well as the huge innuendo right after, lol. The part where you couldn't find water however made me quite anxious - I've been in that situation, it's the worst. Oh, and take some insect repellent with 40% or more of DEET with you next time! It will keep those nasty musquitos away.

I stumbled upon your channel by happy accident, but I'm so glad I did. I love nature and hiking and adventures, but currently with the pandemic, financial situation, and where I currently reside (Arizona in the middle of the summer... it's HOT) I find myself trapped indoors most days. Your videos give me a little much needed reprieve, and I love hearing the thoughts that come to you while you're out in nature. Not to mention the songs and editing are on point! Thanks for the awesome content.

Fantastic video, Robby! 🤩☺ I'm glad you had some better food this time haha The trail, and the views oh my god, amazing, so pretty! Would've loved to go hiking there! Also gotta say the ending had me laughing so much, first you just pouring the whole bag of parmesan onto your food 😂 That's so something I could've done, I was asked at a restaurant once if I wanted parmesan on my pasta and I of course said yes, well I didn't know I was supposed to say stop so the poor dude just kept grating a mountain of cheese, it was delicious tho don't get me wrong, when he asked my friend she just replied "yes but not as much as her" 😂 And then the bloopers! Oh my god 😂

Being a 66 yr. old Grammy, I have to tell you that I heard the ‘walking 5miles up hill barefoot in the snow’ story also. My parents said it when we kids complained about something being hard for us in that moment. I think they were trying to teach us that life is hard sometimes and you have to tough it out. I grew to understand this and became strong and independent. But these last generations seem to be turning out some very soft, whiny, demanding brats who have no clue that life is often tough and almost never ‘fair’ and that they should be entitled to whatever they want with no responsibility or accountability for themselves at all. I made it easier on my children, but also taught them the facts of life and turned out some pretty good people. It’s a balancing act:)

DAMN that PadThai looks BOMB! Also WOW- powerful statement... "there's no going back to re-do it and there's nothing you could have done to prevent it, because the way you behaved at time was the way you were capable of behaving at that time, and the decisions you made were the decisions you made with the best of your knowledge, intentions and you can only move forward." Beautiful reflection. 💚
