Yeah, that Lebron was just too nice not to PC 🤪 I’m scared to regrade that Vince Carter…or maybe I could attach a note with the card ‘grader know your centering’ in all caps. I would get a PSA 4 for sure then 🤣 lol

The Vince Carter card when you showed it in different angles the bottom corners (by Hustler side) seem a bit lifted. I don’t know if it was the lighting or it indeed has lifting. Tough grades this time! Maybe a different grader better grades but that’s the risk we take! Thanks for sharing!

I think that the Bradley Beal RPA would get an SGC 9 because there is a surface dimple on the back of the card to the right of the "I" of rookie going across the top of the card.

Not surprised that PSA does not cross reference existing SN graded cards in their own database for potential resubmissions. No time for that kind of research. Another entertaining and informative reveal 😊

@@littlevictoriessportscards197 I am! Shipping off a 70-card order soon. I’ve been slacking on the pre-sub vids & content in general ‘cause grandma had to go back to Florida to get treatment for a medical issue, so I’m doing the full time dad thing. I have a PSA Reveal uploading now tho!

I tried an experiment for the April special. I cracked 22 cards. 18 psa 9’s and 4 8’s. They are all cards that have I big premium in a 10 over a 9 type cards. Got my grades a couple days ago. 2 of the 8’s became 10’s and 12 of the 9’s became 10’s. Psa can’t tell the difference between a 9 and a 10 so how can we? This experiment shocked me.

It’s interesting. Some cards just seem to present better to graders in general. For example 7 of these crack outs were 2018 Juan Soto bowman’s best atomic refractors. When I looked them over they all had the typical faint print lines but centering corners edges were fine. 5 out of 7 got a 10. So the previous graders had an issue with faint print lines but this one grader over looked it. Grading is just a big horse and pony show.

For a guy with high quality graded cards, it shocks me that the card in the background that advertises your eBay store would grade a 2 or 3 at best. It's a bit wrinkly. 😅

Lol 😂 Definitely would grade a PSA 3. It’s kinda like a memento from when I first starting making vids. It’s been with me since day 1, and will be til my last vid. It’s gonna be a PSA 1 by the time it’s all said and done. Love your comment! 🤙

I’d be down on Beal’s HOF chances. Doesn’t have the college or international career to buoy his flagging NBA accomplishments.

Great points 👍 I think you’re probably right, and as of right now I probably give him 25% of making it when his career is done. But he’s still young, so you never know, might increase that percentage 👌

The Carter does look way better than an 8. For the Lane on the back bottom left corner edge is it flat? In the video it looks like it is catching the light were it could be lifted. The Daniels on the back above his head the lifting of the edge seemed pretty significant but that could be the video angle as well.

can you explain why you would send to SGC over PSA, or vice versa? you mention you would send the Shannon Sharpe probably to SGC and me being new to cards I'm curious why?

SGC was grading modern and ultra modern cards with more leniency. For awhile there I was seeing a full grade or two grade bumps from PSA to SGC 👍 So I was sending cards with lil flaws that I felt PSA was gonna give an 8 to SGC in hopes of getting a 9.5 or 10. But recently SGC is grading comparable to PSA so that reason is now mute :( Now the best reason to use SGC is their insane 5-10 business day turnaround time 👍

Well, it’s a good thing the cases will be impenetrable now. God, I wish grading wasn’t part of this hobby.

Was that turnaround for value tier? Hope mine pop today!

Looks like I need about 35-40 to complete the set. I think I’m at around 73% complete 😃 But I probably have 25 of them in grading right now…hoping they get at least mint 9’s or better 🤞 Thanks as always!

Hey bro, I sent 2 submissions football 39 subs each 1 of them has already been received on my end,but the other 1 is still in research ID process, in this order I couldn't find the right card identity in the sub form, how much longer do u think this order in question may take, if 4 to 7 of the 39 cards were mislabeled in sub form,I couldn't find the right card names

Ever grade cards with dimples?

If the expected profit makes sense I’ll definitely submit cards with small dimples. Tiny dimples usually reduces grade by one, multiple small ones or slightly larger one by two grades. Watch out for the dreaded crescent shaped dimple though…they knock you down 4-5 grades. Thanks for watching! 🙌

isn't that a scratch in the upper right of the Beal auto card? just in from the top right corner on the front, going up and down...surprised you didn't mention it as it is fairly obvious...guessing that is the biggest reason it got an 8 -- agree Sharpe is a for sure 8...no chance the Daniels is a 10, with the centering and light scratches on the front...I don't feel the 8 is far off...maybe an 8.5? Difference in 8's and 9's in many cases is very subtle...SGC may be lenient on the issues these cards have, but I would rather have a PSA 8 than an SGC 9 -- I have always enjoyed your videos, but I feel as if you have gotten way too lenient in your willingness to overlook small issues and that you think PSA should do the same. Maybe you have seen how easy SGC is on modern cards and how they overlook obvious issues, and you are thinking PSA will/should do the same? Even that last Carter you showed...you assume it is the centering...from the few angles/looks you provided, it looks like there were some minor lifting of corners on the front, which happens with foil cards (is that card a little thicker than a standard card as well?)
