This man right here literally got me into barefoot shoes three years ago. I truly can’t thank you enough, it really has changed my life for the better!

Hi Nathan. Could you please describe what have changed for the better? thanks.

I don’t know about Nathan, but I have made similar statements in the past. For me, before I got into barefoot shoes, I had back pain starting up at the age of 30, knee and hip pain and discomfort, and I was begin to notice that I was really unsteady going down stairs, feeling like I was about roll an ankle, clinging to the handrail. Been wearing barefoot shoes for 2-ish years and that’s all gone. I’ve even been able to rehabilitate an old injury to my big toe just by feeling out what needed to be stretched. The most significant improvement is in my balance. I no longer feel like an 80 year old man going up and down stairs.
This intro might be the single greatest thing that ever happened when discussing minimalist shoes
My wife calls them my Platypus shoes. 11 years and not looking back. When I'm old, I'll be able to to appreciate the stability I've gained wearing barefoot shoes.
Until recently, I was only wearing Vivos. But then I got my first Belenka pair and very quickly got another one (the trail shoes). They're made from amazing leather, have really good build quality and are hand made! The dudette who started the company is a former paralympian who couldn't find good shoes so she started making her own, what a badass.

Belenka are BALLLER. THE best barefoot/foot-shaped shoes. They slay Vivo.
I’m dying of laughter from that intro. Seriously, I have tears in my eyes. Or that could be just because I really needed that laugh with all of the bad news going around nowadays. Thanks for the tune and the great advice for barefoot shoes. I’ve made the transition and I’m finding it hard to find shoes that don’t get me constantly questioned.
I've been into barefoot shoes for a while now, but a lot that i've tried haven't done what I need them to do. your way of talking about these shoes is so much more helpful than other videos!!! thank you for aiding my search toward better foot health; better health period
Awesome video! Hoping to find a pair that I can fit into my business casual work wardrobe
You got me into the Lem's Waterproof Boulder Boot and I just have to say they're amazing. I have a wide foot with a high arch and they look awesome and they're far more comfortable than I expected them to be. My go-to shoe this winter fo sho.
Chase, this was the best video I've seen covering barefoot shoes, and I've seen dozens of vids. That intro was such a chill groove, and I was surprised at how much variety in brands and shoe types that you had on display. I love those knit shoes. The Wildling Nebulas look especially nice. I got the Xero HFS shoes a few days ago and they're pretty good. I wish I would've seen this video before getting them though, because I would've gotten a pair of Nebulas for sure. They look perfect for me. Oh well. At least now I have something to look forward to once these Xeros break on me.
I wear barefoot for around two years now. Also thanks to you. The „problem“ is that you can not go back to normal shoes. Now I got barefoot shoes for every occaison. Vivo is the brand I wear mostly. Feelgrounds really feel a bit cheap. I am very happy to see Be Lenka in the video. I really like to wear those too.
I bought a pair of Wildlings (Flying Fox) after you previously recommended the brand, they are fabulous! Mine are worn pretty much every day and still look like new. I get alot of people asking about them and where they can get them because they look so good. I have gone on to recommend them to a number of other people. Vivos are also good (I have a couple pairs) but I do find them a little pricey especially compared with Wildlings which are really well priced here in the UK.
As always, your production is still A1 🔥 absolutely loved that intro bro I copped some vivo geocourts cause of you 💪🏻
At 10:24 the dirty shoes; I’m a mom who knows how to clean those. 1.) expensive but totally worth it option; a high quality steamer like McCullough MC1375. The concentrated brush attachment and maybe an old toothbrush. It will clean it right up. If you have a hard stain then a little dish soap or natural APC. The steamer is zero chemical and super sustainable. 2.) Bleach pen & Mr.Clean Magic Eraser. If you’re scared of the bleach try just the magic eraser and some dish soap.
Love how much you love the Boulder boot. Those are INCREDIBLE
Love these intro songs. "If you want to try minimalism" still gets in my head now and then. Let's see if this is the year I make the switch to barefoot shoes.
Started wearing some Vivo Ra, and I freaking love them. Broke down last week and ordered their Gobi in black
Intro was so smooth & funny! Thanks for the great intro to barefoot shoes👍🏻
By far, the highest quality intro I think I've ever seen from a youtube video. Dang. 10/10.
Got my Freet boots on right now. My first barefoot shoes and I was maybe a bit of a sceptic, but I’m getting used to them and enjoying them. Managed a 4 hour hike with no blisters, which I always get from more rigid and less roomy hiking boots.
Thank you Chase Reeves for the amazing video. I'm in the UK but good quality barefoot shoes have been difficult to source (shoes that are comfortable, well made and ventilated). I've been enjoying having a few different pairs of Vivo Barefoots. They have been great to train my feet but lately I've been wanting more variety and some shoes that feel more like shoes. I love Vivo Barefoot but it sometimes feels like it's the casual footwear of Bruce Wayne pottering around the Batcave in his downtime (kind of like flashy outwear). I stumbled across your video and was really happy. I've added a lot of these to my wish list and look forward to finding some Lem's and Origos.
Bought Be Lenka 2.0 Champs in Black for my first. Super comfy and feels great and versatile
Great roundup. I recently ordered the Flux after watching them in your previous video. They'll be my first barefoot shoe...but I'm hoping to get some more after.
I have the leather shamma, but with a super aggressive tread and it’s perfect for trails, even wet ones like in Hawaii. Just ordered the lems waterproof Boulder, can’t wait!
The most engaging, informative and fun barefoot shoe review I have watched. Outstanding😂
Mate! The intro was immaculate! I have Morton’s neuroma, bunions and plantar fasciitis and my PT put me on to barefoot shoes this week. Thank you for this excellent content!
That intro was just phenomenal! Thank you for this, all I knew was Vivo Lems and Xero so now I have more choices. I can't go back to normal shoes but I want to look a little fashionable

Needs to send this to all barefoot shoe companies and have them bid on the commercial licensing.
I was not expecting that! That made me smile so much! Thanks!
Best intro ever... you're awesome!
This was a really great watch!
Awesome video! Been into barefoot shoes since September and this list helps a ton. Appreciate the review.
Just started watching this and looking forward to it. From the description my favourite still doesn't feature though... Freet. Hoping to see another brand to try out though.
Birchbury are amazing! I have both black and brown. Wear them most days.
That intro was sooo good, could be a video in itself!
Brother Dude, the opening song made my day. You are multitalented. I work installing gutters. there is not one pair of those shoes i could use but i really enjoyed watching. Cheers. And yes insoles are a key.
Bro…. This video… great video man thank you 🙏 Once I went barefoot I tried other shoes and I don’t know why I ever wore them hahah. Barefoot shoes activate a lot more of my foot, calve and leg muscles when just simply walking I love it
First time watcher here, never heard of you. That intro was the best I’ve ever seen. Smashed it
Thank you so much for showing me more brands! You're awesome.
have to say that I ordered the Lems Boulder Boots after I saw your previous video, and they are AWSOME! plus the costumer service of the company are super helping (I got the boots with defect and email them about it with photos, quickly they send me a new pair of shoes no charge). So im highly recommend Lems company
Best barefoot shoe reviews are from this guy! By far
Bro your hilarious. Was just looking for some new shoes and you made my night.
I'm digging the jazzy groove
Thanks for this video, very useful
Am approaching the 1 year mark for barefoot style shoes-will never go back to conventional shoes. I started out with Lems for my work shoe and am wanting to be a little more fashionable for personal wear. Thanks for the info and getting to the point :)
The video I've been looking for! Keep it up !
DDDUUUUDEE!!! I saw a comment saying the intro was fire,, but DUUDE! I didn't expect it being so good. The intro itself makes me want to like the video.
This video just put me in a good mood
Those white caught my eye in the icon I wish reebok and puma or some style like those would make barefoot shoes and protective toe work boots and shoes
I just love the intro song!
I cant xDDDD this is adorable asf, I just laugh and smile all over. But I will come back soon and watch it entirely. I love barefoot walking and use a pair of barefoot shoes for long evening walks everyday, and rn Im diving deeper into the world of barefoot shoes, thanks to you. much love and respect
Youre creativity is of the top!
This is all the entertainment I need for the year... that intro was the bomb. If anyone who watches this is not into barefoot, I bet they are now.
Intro was lit 🔥🔥🔥
That intro got me Vivobarefoot vibing!
Love the footwork btw, love the footwork 👌🏼
Perfect timing cheers
Probably the best intro I've ever seen on a yt video. I'm watching the whole damn thing.
Got into barefoot shoes from one of your older videos and have never gone back!
THANK YOU this is so helpful
Excellent upbeat information, well done. Great spirit, stay positive and stay away from negative people and places like Hollywood, my friend.
the inov8 bare xf is the best minimal shoe if you dont wear minimal shoes all day because they have a standard width. i used them for running and lifting for years but once i started wearing them everyday i needed to upgrade to a wider shoe and the vivobarefoots are my favorite now
One video, the first video!, and I subscribed! Yup, I'm hooked!
Intro earned the like and sub
“Wide foot…disorder.” 😂 Dude, I wish I had this channel back when I was trying to transition. I was reading Ken Bob Saxton stuff, and ended up buying a pair of Merrell Bare Access (gen 1). They were available locally, thanks to that silly barefoot running craze that happened back in the day. They were categorized as “barefoot” but had some padding and arch support. But they were zero drop and had a wider toe box than my other kicks at the time. I wore them everywhere, and ran in them in incrementally longer stretches. Eventually I was running in them exclusively, up to about 13.5 miles. I love my Merrell Vapor Gloves for jump rope and running, but also just recovery walks because they’re so flexible. I love my Shamma sandals in warm weather. I have a couple pair of Xero boots for casual cold weather and snow. Love those. The Hannas are great. I lace them loosely and treat them as slip-ons. Rarely wear them with socks. Love the video. I wanna try Wildlings so bad now! Thanks!

Sounds like the journey you got funneled into basically forced you to make a progressive transition. All good!
ngl, i just smoked a bowl and wasn't sure what was happening in the biggining but started to vibe to it so much I actually missed the cool intro music when abruptly cut xD got my like and sub
I enjoyed the video. I bought a pair of the Lems Primal 2 shoes. I've been enjoying them so far. I may have to look at some of the links you have in the description.
The intro is everything
I have an insane collapsed arch and barefoot shoes have improved it so much and all back pain is gone 😭 love this video 🔥

That's awesome to hear. Is there anything else that has helped your collapsed arches besides barefoot shoes that you can recommend?

@@Davo198 stretching exercises and toe spreaders! It also helped to roll out my foot with a massage ball or lacross ball :)
Phenomenal review and vid. I rarely leave comments but have to give you your props
THAT INTO THO! LOL fun stuff.
Amazing Video, thank you chase!
I’ve messed around with barefoot shoes before and train wearing my one and only pair. But I recently sustained a pretty serious knee injury and through the rehab process realised barefoot was the way to go. I’m all in now and looking for something a bit bit more aesthetically pleasing than my manky but functional vivo stealth 111’s
Had to rewatch that intro😂 Great stuff! 🙌 When does the album drop? 👀
LEMS PRIMAL 2 is a really good affordable light shoe thats a good allrounder, its my personal favorite.
that intro song is a banger! put it on apple music or spotify
this is the trippiest intro ever... liked the video immediately lol
That intro song alone deserves all the likes!!!!!
Great comprehensive video 🙂👍
Bro the intro was soo good😂
I love my Feelgrounds hightops. My first pair had a crack in the sole within the first year, so they sent me a replacement free of charge (they have since updated the outsole). I've dealt with them for a sold out item as well, and i've received nothing but stellar customer service. Highly recommend.

I have seen so many reviews saying terrible soles. The sole redesign is for an updated shape only, same quality. Glad you had a good experience with their CS
Thanks for the info) intro is 🔥🤣
That intro was somethin else xD. About to try some Vevo's out!
introooooooo 🔥
Chase what do you think about Whitin's in general? Would also be curious to hear your opinion on the lifting shoes, Barefoot Ursus shoes for training.
This is the magnumopus of barefoot shoe videos
Shout out to the wildings!! Nothing I've seen is more stylish and barefoot. 3 pairs going strong
I absolutely LOVE you, man😍 be blessed!
Dig the Sunday jamz vibe
song was amazing dude
Im kinda old to be first looking Ito this. Im in it to find relief with my weird feet. But you are very informative and generous with information. For that I say thank you. Im waiting on my second buy. The first didn't work out because of a construction issue. Between you and the fellow at Xero Shoes Ive learned a lot. I think I will avoid several mistakes because of it. Good luck to you .

I really love my BeLenka shoes.. 🥰 but a fan of Vivo's and Groundies as well ;) did you try Bohempia as well?
I feel like the super low to ground look is actually really cool ngl
You're still hilarious man. You've totally sold me on wildlings. I was thinking about but now 👍 And thanks for showing that Chelsea boot - I've been wanting the 1s from Vivobarefoot but they don't seem to be making them in women's black anymore (been watching for around 18mths); so I'll be sure to look at Muki Lastly, I quite like that Be Lenka boot on a guy. Has a kinda European vibe imo
instant like for that intro
Oh shit, I love those Inov8s! Best shoes I've ever used for squats and deadlifts. The toeboxes are narrow, but for me, the uppers are flexible enough that they conform to my hobbit feet without any issues.
Thanks for another barefoot video. Keep em up :) I want to hear how you like the new knitted vivo that's out of stock. Also curious if you've tried vivo's chakka or whatever it's called.
Excellent video
I always come to this channel for a shoe recommendation
The BeLenka Champs are honestly my fave casual wear shoes. They sorta give off Air Force 1 vibes, which is why I got 'em. From the top they're definitey clown shoes, but any time you view them from an angle (i.e. everyone else), they look fine. There's definitely an art to styling high-tops, but there's also an art to not giving a fuck. Also own the Lems Chillum in blue, but noticed myself not really vibing with them. Like you touched on, the sole is a lot thicker than a lot of the other shoes (great for boots/cold protection, but feels so weird when you're used to 3-4mm soles). And the style is just not for me. Love the Boulder Boots though. For anyone ordering from BeLenka: I can heartily recommend their socks,
Only 3 min in. Love your vibes!!
