25ft Bertram Project (Blob 19) 2yrs of work in 14mins, boat restoration

Ойын-сауық

This is what it took to get to the stage its at now. It has taken A LOT longer then I thought! It would help me A LOT if you Like & Subscribe. Please leave a comment.
The $41,616AUD figure is the total amount I have spent on all the goodies (Beer not included in total) to go into the boat to date, like - Fibre glass, resins, Motor, bow thruster, 18’ subwoofer, speakers, amps, trim tabs, lights, drum anchor winch, toilet and lots of other small things. So there’s a big chunck of that money laying around the house accumulating dust! eekkk
I still have to buy lots more like - steering, sounder/plotter, PAINT!, more resin, windows, trailer and lots more.
If you know anyone that can bend glass for the windows please hook me up!
If you are good at programming Arduino, Nextion or rassberry pies let me know who you are if you want to help me. I want to make a graphic user interface to control everything on the boat so I can do away with old fashioned looking switch panels. boat restoration, old boat restoration

When I’m watching your videos I don’t know whether I’m more amazed by the amount of work you do, the fact that all the work you’re doing is going to make for one very high quality boat or that you’re able to to keep doing it all week after week and month after month 😁👍 Probably a healthy dose of all three 🤓👍 It’s a real eye opener 😳 I’m really looking forward to seeing the end product 😎👍👍

Thanks heaps mate. The first few videos took me weeks to make because I was overwhelmed with the amount of unorganized pictures and videos! I had no space left to take more so I forced myself to finish em. Easier and more comfortable then grinding! Haha learn from my mistakes! I wouldn’t have drilled all the holesaw holes in the stringers, go in from the top straight away if u do stringer water tanks! And use vinyl ester resin with poly fillets inside tank. Cheaper and also gives you the option to put fuel in the stringers! If you do hatches use aluminium strip backing with sika flex. So many things to make faster and cheaper. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on your channel! Do it! Surely my narrating would give you the courage!? Haha doesn’t get much worse then my dribble haha

Thanks for the replies Capt. I gotta find a boat first. Looks like the 28’s had an 18 years or so run from early ‘70’s to ‘90 or so? Ive seen them priced from $20K to $90K.. in theory, the more I spend up front, the less I’ll need to do, but I’ll rely on a survey for that. Thanks again. I’ll check out more of your vids. You’re gonna have a totally new boat. Awesome.

The time lapse is way, way overdone. It should be used as a highlight only not the entire video. Very disconcerting to watch and definitely not worth the effort. A new one was doing the captions in time lapse as well so they could not be read if they did carry any worthwhile information. Give this a pass.

Sorry man. Thanks for the constructive criticism! When it’s done I’ll do slow clips of the important parts. I guess when I watch it fast I know what bits I’m doin. I know the writing turned out way to fast. Next ones will be better lol
